I've been playing DDR/ITG for 3 years now, but I can't seem to get good enough to beat the level 13 songs (and Bloodrush.) Would anyone be able to give me just some tips that could help me improve my game to be able to pass those songs? I tried looking at the guides they have online, but none of them have tips for people who are already really good but trying to get even better. Thanks!

Crack! Now in easy-to-take crack tablets!

Seriously, though, just build up your stamina and reading skills, and eventually, just out of nowhere you'll finally pass your first one. It's one of those things where one moment you can't even put a dent in the songs, and the next you're able to pass them regularly.

I started with flash flash revolution before playing on my feet, so I can read anything when it comes to ITG (except Vertex^2 on nightmare mode!) I guess stamina is my whole issue though. I just don't like the idea of practicing everyday in order to improve my stamina 'cause I have things to do some days. If I ever take a break for one day will it make my stamina drastically reduce?

I think that if you are a good arrow reader, then you should be able to do Summer ~Speedy Mix~ first.

What if your footspeed is severely lacking?

I think if arrow reading is your strength, then VerTex2's difficulty drops a little. A fair portion of the difficulty is derived from it's impossilbe-to-manag-e-well speed changes.

Of course the ending just sucks out loud at any scroll speed

Speaking of 13s, is it bad that I think FaxX challenge and Chaos challenge are harder than any itg 13s?

Omid hosts it?

Either way I'm reading it for the first time now, and I'm liking what I'm seeing. Ryan did a really good job on it.

That IS kind of odd....

Play either one of them on a C-mod though and they should stop feeling harder than a 13.

I mean seriously, with a C-mod, how could Chaos Oni POSSIBLY be harder than Summer? Or Pandy? Or VerTex2?

STOP EATING MICKY D'S, RUN REALLY FAST EVERY DAY, AND WHEN YOU GO TO PLAY ITG BE SURE TO MOVE YOUR FEET REALLY FAST. OK? OK! YAAAAAAAAY!

just to answer, if someone who stands next to you watching you play PSMO but you get a D on it, versus somebody who understands perfect attacking and stuff, will think you suck. A player is considered good in my opinion when a player of a higher level comments about you or see's you triple A a song. Or if somebody looks up to you. Hope it clarifies.

Yeah, it is...neither of those are harder than any ITG 11's.

Uh, comparing two different games here...

Faxx Challenge = 4 misses and you fail
Chaos Challenge = 4 misses and you fail
and even Faxx Expert = 5 misses and you fail

Pretty much every 11 you can probably pass with like 20+ misses, and they're considerably easier than both of those.

I don't see how you can find something like Xuxa harder than Faxx. No one in my arcade has even passed Faxx Expert on extra stage (the only way to play it right now here) not to mention even gotten to Faxx Challenge. 11s here have been Tristarred. Think about it o_O

Or maybe it's because the people who play ITG well don't play DDR SuperNOVA.

The ones at my arcade do though.

I'm sure I'll never pass FAXX on Extra Stage on SN, and I can be considered somewhat skilled at dance games. 600 BPM is way too fast for comfort on DDR.

Perhaps this is how it is for the players at your arcade as well?
