DDRExtreme.co.uk 90's Mix - Registration Open!

OK people! DDRExtreme.co.uk is running another mix contest, and with a longer registration/production time we're looking to make it a big one! With a lot of the other simfile tournaments coming to an end now I think we are one of the only sites to offer regularly run simfile competitions - and have had many successful ons in the past.

With this mix it's time to go back to the land of Brit Pop, big shoes and awesome dance music. Oh yeah, and grunge.

Here are the rules:

1) Only 90's songs are allowed! Anything from January 1990 to December 1999. No remixes or covers, unless they were released in the 90's.

2) No crazy steps! You are welcome to use handplants and itg-style steps, but please restrict these to the Challenge difficulty.

3) You can enter up to six songs per person. but...

a) only one will be judged. You may enter a second judged song, but it must be anonymous.

b) the other 4 files will be considered as "bonus files" and will be available in a separate pack to the main mix. However - these files will be subject to a "public vote" contest, so you can still get some feedback.

4) no songs from previous DDRExtreme.co.uk step contests are allowed, or anything from DDR or ITG

5) (addition 24th Sept. 2006) - Long version songs can be entered, but only as non-judged bonus tracks and a maximum of 4 will be included in the pack, so it's a first-come first-serve basis. Email the address below to let the admin team know if you want to enter a Long Version NJ song...

6) The closing date will be the 19th November 2006. That's AGES away.

So if you fancy making up a 90s tune to enter the comp and would like to join in a friendly competition head over to the site now. You will need to be registered to enter, but once you are you can access the forums and enroll for this mix.

If you don't fancy making a simfile, the main pack will be released late November for those that want to grab it. It should be a great addition to anyones library!
