Hello guys, I just recieved ITG for the PS2 yesterday. I was wondering if it was normal for the load times between screens to take about 2-3 seconds. It's not too long, but I just want to make sure I didn't get a bad game from someone online.

Yes, this is normal. You'll probably get used to it.

Yeah, I don't personally know why everyone complains about the loading times. It just a good quick rest time between songs and stuff. I don't even notice it...

Though I'm pretty sure I've called them "ridiculous" in other places, I'll agree that generally, the load times aren't THAT bad.

Exception: Practice Mode, which is so badly designed with such awful load times that it's even more useless than the effectively broken DDREX US training mode. Seriously.

But just stay out of Practice Mode and you'll be fine.

I have noticed that the load times on my ITG PS2 has been getting a bit longer than before. Is my disc going bad or is it my PS2 unit?

Probably your PS2 is starting to suck at reading discs.

I agree. I didn't notice when I first got the game.

Now I use HDL, which makes things go about as fast as DDR, and so I notice them (but get used to them) when playing off of the DVD.
