IP Banned Question

I usually never post anything and just read topics and browse the main page, but yesterday it said I was banned from the forums. What is odd is that it worked a couple days previously. This was using my high-speed connection. I thought the forums were broken because none of the links worked.

Now I'm using wireless connection, and I'm able to access the page. I'm guessing my high-speed IP was accidently banned (I'm on an apartment internet network called Airwave I believe.) ? On the error page, it said to contact an admin.

Did you... get the IP address that was banned?
We can't really do anything if we don't know where the problem resides.

Note: You were not banned, because your account is still intact.
Someone else was banned, and you happened to nab their IP for some period of time.
