That video, he had the grading set to begginner, cause I dont think youd get an A in the arcade with that many Bads/misses. _________________

Here ya go. Look how many misses there are on the 1P side. I only got one more miss. And Bads don't count for scores I don't think as much. _________________

Combo makes a pretty significant difference, the 150 + 50 combo runs helped. Bads make more of a difference than you'd think.
Pumpthegrooverevolution - machine difficulty doesn't affect the grading scale, it just alters the timing windows.
Frankly I've seen far worse scores still get an A. That wasn't an incredibly good run, but it wasn't questionable as far as whether or not the grade makes sense. _________________

You know, I was just trying to illustrate that it was possible to do something like that without having to go through with buying a metal pad or even modding the mat. This wasn't supposed to turn into a debate over the grade.
And BotD, you're right because I couldn't believe that I had even come close to A'ing it. 50 misses sounds like a lot to most people. _________________

50 misses on a song with like 800+ steps isn't all that much. _________________

for the second question you can use a cobalt flux with the PC pump games (but not the consol ones due to the lack of ability to map buttons) _________________

Can you tell me why you think you have to make a choice? They're both enjoyable games. Play whatever you like.
P.S., you can even own a Mac AND a PC if you'd like! No, really.
Fanboys suck. |

I got the PIU Exceed bundle for Xbox today, and I love it. It's got great stepcharts and is lots of fun, and I'm not doing bad. I play normal and hard mostly, but sometimes expert if it's not too hard, and so far I've only been getting A's (playing on both home and arcade mode with difficulty set to intermediate on both and speed always on 2x). I'm gonna have to start playing it in the arcade soon. I got it because I've been waiting too long to start PIUing, and I really missed stomping arrows at home, even if they're diagonal and one of them is a yellow square. |

xbox version? no canon-d for you!
anyhow, its great how once DDR/ITG players play PIU more than once always fall in love with it. Me, someone who hated PIU for nearly 2 years, finally got on the pad at the arcade, played for 20 minutes, and fell in love. _________________

Unless he has Xbox live and the patience to take 20 minutes to put in the steps in the step editor.
I spent a few hours getting my Xbox loaded with Pump songs that aren't originally on the game. |

It was the only one they had, and I was desperate! Besides, this one is plenty fun.
Your right about that love falling thing. For quite a while I hated PIU. But then I realized that I was being retarded for hating something I knew nothing about. So I looked up a few PIU video's and realized it looked fun, and wanted to try it sometime. Since I couldn't get to a machine here (PIU machines in my area are scarce) I decided to get the Xbox one, since it was there on the shelf asking to be bought. And after the 10 miniutes it took me to adjust to the pad I was in love. I don't think I'll ever stop playing ITG (I've already pretty much stopped playing DDR, now I only play it if ITG isn't available) though, it's too damn fun.
EDIT: I'm now on day 3, and I just passed a few 13's. Even though these charts are really easy to be 13's, they're still very fun. I've done 11's and 12's too. All oodles of fun. |

So yes, a 13 is pretty easy, compared to a 4 panel 13. _________________
