...um, ok. I passed Euphoria before Mythology
Seriously, I did.
Note, I was the person who started this whole Euphoria thing too, complaining about how hard it is......to score that is.
Oh, btw, 99.33, whether world record or not, is creepily sick. I will remain silent about my score on that song, for it is .....so.....bad.
Oh, I unofficially ****'d PA Theme. 3 Way Offs the rest Fantastic. Stuff like that pisses you off to no end. _________________

My understanding on how "elite" players figure their scores is that you simply disregard anything that wasn't a Fantastic or an Excellent, regardless of whether said not-Fantasic/Excellent was you or the pad. This also goes for dropped holds/hit mines.
So congrats on the quad star! _________________

DukAmok, why do you have 3 versions of Summer in Belize on your machine? I know about hacks and all that, I'm literally asking "What is the point of having the same song 3 seperate times?" Sick scores, by the way.
As an aside, as I kind of mentioned above, it's awful that the attitude of "simply disregard non-Fantastics/Excellents (SEE: LilQ's "4 Excellents" on Xuxa at Worlds which was actually 4 and a Great, to name just one example--which is still an amazing score and better than I could do)" has gotten to the point that we even need to distinguish "legit" FECs from recalced ones.
I know I'm in the minority on this attitude, but that doesn't mean I'm going to stop thinking it anytime soon. _________________

yeah, that was at solar city. im not entirely sure when ill be back there, but ask blake to let you know or something, you can come by and watch =)
anyway, yes, 'legit' fec is kind of a dumb term. an fec is an fec, is it not? however, there are certain unavoidable truths about dancing games. one of them being that the machine, sensors, and pads are not all going to respond the same way every time. when it doesnt, and its no fault of the players, then i have no problem with a "recalc".
however, i do have a problem with overly recalcing. i know exactly how i am stepping, and i know when i get a pad error. i trust everyone to judge for themselves whether or not they did. if they honest to goodness got one, and they know it, they are free to recalc. however, a person that doesnt legitimately get a pad error but claims it as one knows that they didnt, and if they seriously feel better about themselves for fudging their scores around on a dancing video game, they probably need to take a close look at their self-esteem issues.
its not our place to jump on anyone online about whether it was pad or it wasnt. they can figure that out for themselves. _________________

I'd say that at least one of them is Joe's Summer In Belize full version from one of the keyboard packs. _________________

Dukamok, when would you say we could expect a ** on Euphoria from you? I see that youve improved your score on it recently. With your recent scores, it looks like you should be able to get that even farther up. _________________

Yay my machine has two world records on 12s now!
And yeah about the summer in belieze thing
I added one into a Random folder.
Then I got the 8=D folder that it belonged in, and was too lazy and fat to take it out. _________________

Was at the Funplex today, and I did some stuff. I don't have any screenshots or anything, and can't update my groovestats though, because my USB thingy is now a victim of Card Mount Error (which is weird, as it worked fine before). Anyway, I 77.22'd Charlene, and got done two more 11's, so now I've done a total of 4. Those 11's would be VerTex^2 Hard and Robotix Expert (both with cel and 1.5x).
And uhh...some 'tarded guys ('tarded as in you can't tell they are until you've started talking to them) while I was there. They were annoying, and managed to make it less fun for everyone else. The most bothersome one was not just annoying, but full of lots of shit. First, he said that the SuperNOVA's pads weren't that responcive because they had the sensativity setting in the operator menu, and we all know what bullshit that is. I argued with him, telling him that I'd been in the operator menu (which isn't really true, I just wanted him to stop knowing such horrible lies) and that there was no setting for that. Then he said that he'd been there too and there was. I argued a bit, saying that the sensativity of the pads has to do with how well taken care of they are, not an option in the operator menu, and then he finally decided to say that that was an option in older mixes and they took it out. He also claimed to be able to pass 12's, which was more crap. He didn't even do any 10's. But, he did try Summer on Expert, He failed right at the first stream. I was able to tell by how quickly he failed that he couldn't do a 12 to save his life. I hope to never see him again. And that was today's trip to the Funplex. |

videoCWK... there's no point even arguing with people like that... :/
I was playing supernova last week and these stupid girls came up and started arguing about why I'm playing the game.. I just responded "'cos I like it", but then they argued more about how it's a girls game....
So I passed Max300 (super max-me-mix) barless in their face
So... uh.. yeah... ITG achievements... I nearly passed Vertex^2 with C450 recently... I will soon.. then I guess 1x is the next plan
oh and passed Delirium 12 with no bar (bad score)... VID! |
