I hear about all these metal pads breaking down.

Is there any metal pad that won't have any problems? If not, what's the closest one to that. I'm considering buying a metal pad for my PS2.

Why did you bump this thread from 2004? And why did you do it to ask a question that would've been better if it was asked in a thread you made yourself?

AFAIK, every metal pad is crap. CF isn't the most durable, by the testimonials I hear from ex-pad owners CF is the ONLY durable pad since everything metal seems to break down. (I own a CF and broken Afterburner frust.gif )

Calling someone a noob just because they were introduced to a certain hobby later than you is quite juvenile. But calling someone a noob because you misread someone's post is just plain stupid.

Um, because forum rules state explicitly, and I quote:
Quote:
DO NOT POST A "WHICH PAD SHOULD I GET?" OR A "PAD X VS. PAD Y" THREAD.
If you're trying to choose between two or more pads, then post IN THE THREADS FOR THOSE PADS. Do NOT make a new thread for this.

DO NOT POST A "WHICH PAD IS THE BEST?" THREAD.
If you really want to know, do some research. You'll narrow it down pretty quickly. Do *NOT* post a thread asking for information that you could have easily found by looking - why should anyone else exert effort on your behalf when you were too lazy to find out yourself?

Don't harrass people for following the rules please.

Quoted for emphasis.
