It seems like he thought you were on his side, but I saw what was basically brutal ridicule in your post. All I can say is, WHOOTHEFUCKLISTENSTOSMASHMOUTHANYMORELOLOLOLROFL....

Return to your regularly scheduled argument. (PS. Cory is winning.)

Yes, we do.

No, it's not.

All of my best friends are autistic (except my brother, who is probably autistic as well but is impossible to diagnose) and I've researched a lot about my condition.

I'm not gonna tell you you don't know you're own condition, but my sis's friend IS autistic and he CAN'T detect sarcasm, at all. Period. I even asked my Comm teacher and she says the same thing. There might just be different levels of autism then.

And like I said, I didn't detect your autism till just recently, and I still do feel sorry for you (like I feel sorry for my sis's friend, who I'll just call Martin). If you can relate to what socrates said about happy swine and unhappy humans (which I know you know, Mr. Philosophy): If you don't know what it's like to not have autism and to be able to love socializing like I do, then you're not going to believe that it's any better than what you have now. I'm sure you're content, but there's still a lot more to someone's future than just thinking.

So don't think me dumb for feeling sorry for you.
you're clearly the type who NEVER admits when he is wrong.
Why would I say I'm wrong if I don't think I am? That's stupid.

PS: No one has ever won or lost a debate online in the history of the internet. Seriously, have you ever, EVER seen a debate online where one side said "Well, OK you win that debate about abortion/ethics/religion/gay marriage/politics/bar/ITGvsDDR!" Everyone's too ignorant, on both sides, for everything. We'll debate like madmen then go to sleep and forget everything we said the next morning. It's fun is what it is. Don't get all worked up.

Cody assumes that you're smart enough to realize that you're losing by now.

Winning != won. He has an advantage. I doubt either of you will change opinions, but Cory is winning.

Since you edited, I have another point. Arguments/debates have more effect than just convincing their two sides. When I first was on DDR Freak, I thought that ITG was basically a half-assed ripoff of DDR, and that the bar was a handicap. After READING, not participating, in ITGvsDDR and bar vs. barless debates, I realized the fallibility of my opinions. I checked out ITG, and saw that it was a cool game, with a great community and greater support for the game than Konami. I also saw that using the bar makes sense. Peoples arguments made sense, and they convinced me to change opinions. The people involved in the arguments probably didn't change opinions, but their debates helped me to see the facts.

Happens all the time.

Wouldn't this conflict with your "socratic duty"? Or do you just have a very narrow definition of "talk"? It seems a bit Prejudicial (2) to dislike people without knowing or trying to know anything about them individually. I don't think you have knowledge about any sort of innate, near universal quality or tendency that human beings have, but I could be wrong.

Not unless they enter into a discussion with me.

I disagree. I think it would be prejudiced to dislike a specific person X without knowing him specifically. I don't think it would be prejudiced to dislike people in general.
