Guide: How to unpack ITG ps2 disk

Arg, now I'm confused again. No, I didn't delete any ITG songs. Then having more noteskins would be pointless. And I do not want to edit metrics. I only edited the language so the noteskins would show up. Also, I have no idea what an ISO is. I rarley burn stuff. Oh yeah, I did what you said in the noteskin thread and something not good happened. Go there and read my edited post to find out.

I know this seems as though everyone already figured it out, but when I drag the 1.out into the raw2wav thingy. Nothing happens, and when I drag it to that other bladeenc thingy, the song is too slow. What should I do?

PCKSuite PCKMagic Packer is being a pain in the ass again, I name the pck properly and I set it to generate cache, but when it reaches generating the index, I keep on getting "can not open (*insert file name here*)" errors... What the hell is going on?

Using PCXMagic IDX Wrapper is also giving me problems... first this "out of memory" error, which I choose to ignore, then I click to create the file again, and I can't open the files because they are already in use.

What am I doing wrong?

My PKC packer keeps crashing after I click choose filename and save...after I click save, it crashes...any help?

what do i have to change in the static.ini to so i get points instead of % and change the letter grades to ddr's. Also can you use your own noteskins cause im to used to ddr's?

I have tried everything...here is my file setup for each song folder:

Banner
BG
.sm
OGG file

and PKC Packer still "encounters a problem and needs to close"... any help?


EDIT: I got the PKC and everything working. But now the .ImL file i dunoo what to do ...when i click export. it says "File not found: I:SYSTEM.CNF" then i click ok and another box pops up saying IML file export error.

*EDIT 2* I closed the program and reopened/ re-dragged everything to co/dvd gen and now I get a "ASPI Manager loading failed"

should I get a new DVD gen?

***EDIT 3*** Does anyone have Gnie's IML2ISO cause i dunno where to get it

****EDIT 4**** Ok i burned the iso and I start up swap magic and I do the sawping blah blah blah and then It tries to load but it says "Invalid PS2 Disk"

*****EDIT 5***** WOW k I HAVE WASTED 5 damn disks >:o and i dont know wtf to do it keeps saying INvalid PS2 disk... PLEASE help...i used Nero burning rom to let you people know...

Can we get major update on the first post? Browsing the web at 36/48 Megs a second is a lot slower I notice than my usual 56, and it takes ages to load 1/22 pages. Plus newcomers don't have to sift through 22 pages of stuff, where at least 18 pages of it is useless unfo unless you're having problems. Plus I'm interested again cuz I just got an Action Replay MAX for my PS2 and that has a free loader.

see where it says start = then # at the end of the url??? Just change the number to 180 like after you click on a random page number...it beats scrolling through alot of pages to reach page 10

Do we burn just the .iso or the whole damn thing (.iso and the PCKs, boot.pak, .img, etc.)?

Alright. Before you blast me I just came from reading the ENTIRE thread (pages 1 to 22).

I'm trying to modify one file in the pcks and repack them.

Whenever I use the PCKSuite, ITG PC (full game with the latest patch) yells at me saying the .pck file is invalid and then crashes.

Is there any way to fix this?

With ITG PC the unpack trick with the pck.idx doesn't work. Is there any workaround for it?

Can someone please explain to me step by step on how to get noteskins working. I did what kalek told me but the game just shows a black screen when i start it. I already got the simfiles to work but not the noteskins. Thanks

Ok, I finished burning the ISO file onto a disc and put it into my PS2 and only the origonal ITG1 songs work. Everytime I choose an ITG2 song it says "?" for the amount of steps, freezes, mines, jumps, ect. and when I start it it says the song name and the round number and then freezes. Does anyone know how I can fix this?
