You sure? I thought it was a bunch of people masturbating over a new song. |
Yeah, how DARE they go slightly offtopic? After all, you are being forced to read this thread. Right? _________________

As far as my ears are concerned, Eternal Love mix is most definitely a remix of Fascination Maxx. I can't believe there's such a debate about this...
Hope you guys enjoy the steps too! |

If you notice the front panel, it has six screws: three on the top above the start buttons and three below near the coin door. All you have to do is remove those screws to remove the panel, disconnect and unscrew the start and arrow buttons, and replace it with a pre-fabricated panel (there's a good chance Konami will do this), which has memory card slots mounted on them, reinsall and reconnect the buttons, run a data cable (probably USB) from the slots to the PS2 main board, screw the new panel back on, and that's it. | Gah, just noticed your post. Everyone posted at the same time Yeah, I'll keep that in mind the next time I'm by the machine.
The Jiggens: I hope so too, though I won't get to see them in person until at least next week. I'm definitely looking forward to it! _________________

Anyone know of a GameWorks arcade that has gotten this? The techs at the GameWorks I work at haven't heard anything about this yet. I'd guess that all GameWorks would get it around the same time. |

Yeah, TSM has a point. Right now it's all about Fascination. It does have to do with the patch, itself, though. I'd feel this discussion could be split into a "Fascination in the Patch" thread, but oh well.
Anywho, this is REALLY exciting news! Another 10-footer right off the bat. This is definately a good sign of more frequent 10-foot playability in the future. =D
Can't wait to try it out. (Following sentence editted out)

FAXX has a MAX sound to it, to me, in terms of motifs. A sound more faithful to the series than MAXIMIZER's is. Listen to it again?

Oh, sorry. Bad assumption on my part. |

I HIGHLY doubt that any place has had the update patch for a couple of months when it was just released a couple of days ago. Unless you're talkin' about something, that is. _________________

As for the patch at Gameworks, I don't know. |

Actually I think he did the RANDOM Nonstop course, because when this song comes up and they can hear what it is, you hear the guys say "oh no" or "uh oh"... So I think it was probably random... _________________

Um, okay wow. This song sounds quite better than FAXX. But I can't get a clear call on this until I get a better-quality sound, though. Arrgh, I must find out, because I have loved every single 2MB remix made so far.
Anyway, I was expecting Felm and FAXX to sound similar, but wasn't expecting THIS much similarity. However, I think the way Felm incorporates itself with the stepchart is MUCH more interesting than anything FAXX delivers. The first 2/3rds of Felm seemed really cool and flowed with the song pretty well, and I like the way it ends. In addition, most of the stupid hard stuff actually goes with the song. *gasp*
As for the whole Disconnected thing...LOLOLOL. Payback from their PARANOiA version and Energizer? =P
I'd laugh harder if telephone sounds are a theme of the alleged Fascination series, if a series is indeed what we're dealing with. |
