I wouldn't be considered a geek, but some of my friends are. Hell, some of the people I never thought played DDR, I see at the arcade totally kicking our asses at it. Lol. _________________

New thought about this
Dunno If I posted this before but...
DDR Players are athletic people. It isn't officially declared a sport, but it is. It's physical... DDR = good river dancing. River Dancing = Money.
Geeks = Money...so, I guess we're athletic Geeks? |

Come on you DDR geeks!!!! Keep entertaining me!!! This thead is about to make me wet my pants!!!!
Anyway, I'll contribute to this really funny thread.
I know for a fact that I'm not a geek. Having a passion for something that isn't mainstream shouldn't make you a geek. If that's the case I want to call every organised sport fan a super,duper geek. And all those people that obsess over hollywood and have to know every little thing a movie start does. If they blow out a bugger it becomes big news. These people are the absolute worst of the geeks.
I worked at this place for five years, and all the people there could talk about was sports. I MEAN NOTHING ELSE!!!!!!
The instant I try to talk about something else, I end up getting worst glares ever. But in america it's ok to be obsessive over professional sports.
People in this country are hippocrites(sp?)!!!!!

Yes, yes it is. I'm sure you'd like to think it's not, but it is. _________________

Well of course it's mainstream if you only compare it to other rhythm games, but I don't see it as mainstream otherwise.
Besides, whether or not DDR is mainstream, sports are, and that means that sports obsessives are not geeks, according to that Ryu person. _________________

I was only implying that they think that they aren't because it's mainstream, but I have different oppinion on that. They aren't any different than us, but they'll say otherwise.
