the right arrow doesnt respond. we took off the acrylic and resoddred it and it worked for about halfway through a beginner song and then stopped responding again. about 2 weeks later we resoderred the wire again it worked for like 2 minutes then just stopped responding. i know its not broken where the soddered wire is. i dont have money to buy a brand new one and i frick love ddr so i wanna get it fixed so if anyone has any idea what the problem could be thatd be great. |

The problem is it's a TX1000. I didn't even know those could break from beginner mode usage, I had no idea they were that un-durable. |

Most likely residue on the sensor.
When was the last time you cleaned it? _________________

i wiped the sensor off with a damp rag, but then i found out the reason it was working bc the little powerbox thing where the needle things plug in 2 of the needles were broken like halfway off and if i plug it in and keep it in REALLY tight it will start working again. but also my X and O buttons have never worked since i got it and i was just wondering if that has happened to anyone else and if anyone has any idea what it could be. |

I too have a TX 1000 pad and the down arrow stopped working. I have so far found out i need to replace the white wire from the down arrow. But i can't figure out how to get inside the pad without tearing it into thousands of tiny splintered peices. If anyone knows how this pad is built and how i can get inside and replace that wire, that would be very helpful! |

ive been reading around, and ive been hearing alot that the TX 1000 and 2000 tend to have LOTS of arrow-not responding probs.
Im no expert on this, however, but do replace the foil contacts with sheetmetal |
