I hate DDR SuperNova AC so much, it's depressing. No Disabled the FLAW, no great Dancemania licenses that appeared on Extreme, and stupid syncing issues. Ugh. I enjoy Extreme the most obviously, but I also like 4th Mix Plus. SuperNova's my least favorite DDR.

I don't really see how you can use that against SuperNova seeing how no other arcade mixes have it. But I bet you would be happy if they fixed the syncing and had that song as an unlock E1.gif

Anyway Extreme is my favorite right now but once SuperNova gets patched up and unlock codes come out that will take the cake.

I agree. I hate SuperNova currently, but it'll grow on me. Right now I'm all for Extreme.

I ALSO agree lol. the only songs worth playing on supernova for me are Honey Punch, Nijiiro, and Golden Sky. oh btw i was playing on a supernova machine the other day with my friend jenna and we did honey punch as our first song and on the last jump (and the song ends) the screen went black and the arrows we finished on stayed lit up even though we werent on them and someone unplugged the machine and it rebooted but it took our money! luckily we got a refund.... anyways i learned on a japanese extreme machine and its my favorite (lol the old days with BUTTERFLY) but i also like the 3rd korean mix 2nd version happy.gif

DDR Max FTW! this is the first arcade mix i played on, and it has great songs. Max300 + Witchdoctor = best mix.

YOU ARE A HATER!!!!!!!!!!! disgust.gif

Well except for the sync issues... SuperNOVA is one of my favorite mixes! I love the dancers- they look sooooo coooool!!! I swear they look like they're performing actual routines- much better than whatever the hell characters have been doin since 3rd mix. I also like the character's new look I'd take the new humanized Emi and Rage over the other versions any day.

But my #1 favorite mix is definately 4th MIX! I played for the very first time on this mix- Butterfly, Dam Dariram kcp, and Burnin the Floor=my first set ever!!!

well i've only played on extreme & USA (that's what's at my local arcade)
and i'd have to say that i utterly hate USA and extreme has to have just about every song i want except butterfly upswing mix, boom boom dollar k.o.g. mix, & move your feet (what, it's a good tune) ... but other than that EXTREME has everything i want

4th+ is still my favorite, but recently, the arcade I usually go to replaced its Extreme with a 5th mix. This makes me happy. Yay songs which aren't on Extreme, like 17 Sai and No Limit biggrin.gif

SuperNova isn't very impressive in my opinion.

Aww, 5thMIX makes me smile ...

I'm kinda torn between 5thMIX and DDRMAX2. 5thMIX because of HOT LIMIT and MOONLIGHT SHADOW (New Vocal Version), but DDRMAX2 because of DRIFTING AWAY AND JUSTIFY MY LOVE.

I honestly can't decide.

Well,I like Extreme the most, but SN is a close second (Because I'm so offbeat, I do great on SN! >_>). I haven't spent much time with it but I liked what I played on SuperNova. Extreme is just closer to home so I spend more time on it.

I've never played on a pre-8th mix machine. E2.gif

I do enjoy EXTREME for its songs like Colors and Sync, but I must say that I love MAX 2 more. It has most of the best songs from EXTREME, as well as godly exclusives/songs that were only on one previous mix. Look at Us, Stay, Justify My Love, More Than I Needed to Know, Trance de Janeiro, Nothing Gonna Stop, Drifting Away, Long Train Runnin' and So Fabulous So Fierce are way too awesome.

I played DDR 5th Mix at Funland in Toronto, but I couldn't figure out how to put speed mods on in the songs. Can you put on speed mods in that game? O.o" Holding the center button didn't work for me and I failed the first song I played. (Dive)

4th mix plus and 5th are awesome. Almost forgot about them. I'd say that both are definately my favorites.
Once we get some freaking unlocks for SuperNOVA AC, I can figure out which mix is my runner-up. Right now I'm debating between EXTREME and SuperNOVA.

You can't put speed mods on 5th mix. All mixes before DDRMAX didn't have them. Also, holding down the green button doesn't do anything. The only way to put other options like hidden and sudden is to use "foot codes".

My favorite old school mix is 5th Mix because of Insertion, Matsuri Japan, Moonlight Shadow, and the long versions. Supernova and Extreme tie for my favorite modern mix. Extreme has a lot of song variety while Supernova has an awesome interface and great new songs. Healing-D-Vision and Xepher own.

I think Extreme is the best overall, because it has the Hard 9 footers, HVAM, Cartoon Heroes, and decent 10 footer, Max 300, MaxX, TLOM, Bag, PSMO, and a good variety of 8 footers to practice steps on.
