What do people do while playing DDR that really angers you?

i hate it when someone tries to shadow when your in the middle of a double song. It happened to me once a kid that was like 13 started to shadow in the middle of ym double song and i ended up shoving him into the jurrasic park game so he gave me the finger and ran off

1. When people stay on the machine for ages and never let other people play.

2. When other players are waiting around the machine and suddenly someone randomly comes and puts a coin in the machine when some1 else is already playing....... forcing them to get the next turn.

STOMPERS!!! i was in my arcade (which is filled with normally 16-19 yr old ppl) and all of a sudden...this lady comes in with her two kids and thay said they wanna play ddr...so their mom gets tokens and shoves them in when me and my gf was about to go up andplay...also called: COIN LINE IGNORERS AND PARENTS...so then they freaking stomp the living hell out of the pads on BEGINNER in HIGH HEELS and everyone was like poor pads...when they were done me and my gf go on and see the poor pads dented and pushed in.....and now there is a strict after 6 policy that no one under the age of 16 can enter...(WOOT!)

I just got done playing at my local arcade, but before I even finished my second dollar, this little kid (10 yrs. old maybe) comes up to the machine and just folds his arms over the other bar. Now, I have no problem with that, but he starts KICKING the back of the pad. The pads at my arcade feel like they're falling apart because almost everything is loose, so when he kicked there was a loud metal against metal ding. When I finish the song I was playing, he jumps up on the pad and goes "Ooh, pick bag, it's a hard song." But that wasn't the worst of it. Instead, I play Burning Heat because I felt like shutting him up, and right in the middle of the song, he starts kicking the machine even harder. His mother, in the meantime, is standing a few feet away acting as if nothing is going on, and I just got mad and told him to go away or I was getting someone to kick him out.

PARENTS: Keep an eye on your kids! This isn't the first time little kids have jumped up on the machine and pound the other side. In an arcade where I can barely hear the machine, I don't need people deafening me for no other reason than just because.

Well, I'm done ranting, but I do appreciate a little distance between others and the machine.

Okay,

Kid at my arcade (about 10), comes about once every 2 weeks. Warm up song with Tsugaru (Heavy for all) and he's like (some weird pronunciation of the song) "That's so hard, no one can pass it." Did, he started worshipping me in some way, if I got this on tape, it was hilarious. Yozoka No Moru, but this time...every time the machine said something, he ended up repeating it to the world.

So my conclusion is.... (Get ready for caps)

LITTLE ANNOYING 10 YEAR OLDS THAT DON'T REALIZE THAT EVERY SONG IS PASSABLE, AND YOU'RE NOT SOME GOD WHEN ACTUALLY YOU REALLY SUCK >.<

I once pushed a kid off who was mocking DDR while I was on singles mode. I just had enough of his teasing. He freaked out of course and I didn't really touch him at all. He screamed and looked shocked but I guess anyone would if they got shoved off the pad. I would have finished it off with a smack but then I'd imagine some over-protective mom would bicker at me trying to justify her kid being obnoxious. He ran off crying I think. I think I scared him.

In a way...I still laugh thinking about it. But it is one of the things I can't stand.

Well I had only 3 arcade experinces, but there has, yes, been a few times where people have angered me.

:: I didn't care weather or not I was with my frineds at the Field Trip or not. My mind was just wanted to get ot the arcade. But there was one time when I was Doing Happy Wedding on Heavy and some kid got on the other pad and his friend screamed "GO GO GO!!" and he tried dancing like I did. I ignored him, but I did wanna smack him against the machine for breaking my concentration. ::
:: The most current time was when I was at my local mall and I was getting stuff for school. I was doing the REALLY slow version of Sana Mollete Ne Ente on Standard these girls around 9-10 werer saying "I can do blah blah..." Which also broke my concentraion and I usually do good on slow songs and I end up getting a C or D. ;_; And all they did was 'I do I do I do' on Beginner! >< ::

i hate it when parents let the kids crawl on the pads! a few days ago, some mom put her dumbass baby on the pad next to me and it started crawling on the pad(i didn't notice because i was playing xepher) and then it went on my left panel and the thing started crying. Then the mom continued to doggy at me even tho i had no idea that the baby was on the pad. She called me inconciderate, i told her she was being unreasonable and shouldn't let kids on the pads, because accidents happen. She continued to call me a freak show and told me I was wrong, so I just went back on the DDR machine. The only thing i felt bad about that night was being so close to FCing xepher but then that baby ruined everything.

anyone else think its a little unreasonable? anyhow, since ive been playing SN at the arcade a lot lately, i will make a list!

- babies crawling on pads.
- people who yell at you while your playing
- people who come up and say they can beat you...then play begginer and fail
- people who call you a freak for being so good(yes, it's happened before, it was a redneck family and i'm 99% sure the dad was a homophobe)
- people who lean up on the bars while you play
- people who put there hands all over the screen
- people who think the game sucks because they suck

whenever i see a few guys with popped-coller hollister polos with a few girls i know it means trouble. Heck, one time one of the girls told the guys they were being loud and retarded, she was actually kind of cool. you know what kinda guys im talking about. The ones who do face paint and such at football games, listen to jack johnson, watch family guy, and pop there collars. I'm talking about bros.



it seems like at my arcade the only ones i appretiate are the ones who play DDR or are under the age of 12. I have never seen a kid 9-12 say anything bad about me, just tell me I was really good and ask how long it took for me to get that good. ive only ran into a few little frick who thought it would be hilarious to bring laser pointers and point them at us. Then one of my friends(who's a girl, thus having pubecent boy intimidation!) went up to them and doggy slapped both of them right across the face and took the lazer pointer, threw it on the ground, and stepped on it.

They didnt do much after that.

When someone dumazz has a tantrum and breaks the DDR machine. I live on an island where there are 3, but 2 of them you have to pay to get into the arcade.

When the tourists come and they have nothing better to do than the other thousands of tourist crap than to go to the arcade where me and my friends hang, havign to wait on their stupid arses in order to actually do the only fun thing on the island.

When people tell me I suck or try to make me laugh, I usually lose my concentration.

When someone gets in the way, as in a few inches away from me, intentional or otherwise.

When people don't take turns and a bunch of people in a group have to wait for more than 30minutes to get 3 rounds (max) for a $1.

Oh, and lets not forget my other favorite... when you are busy picking a song and you are a begginer just starting out of light and someone goes up behind you and changes the level to heavy while you are on Captain Jack and Cartoon Heros. ><

so there's this ugly little wigger kid watching me play and he's like "hey man how do you get so good do u come here every day?" and i'm just like "i've just been playing for a LONG TIME" and he asks if he can shadow me next song. I tell him no because i'm playing doubles and he gets really pissed. I select a random nonstop couse, he stands behind me and spends the next 6 minutes straegically placing his foot on my pads, he almost knocks me off a couple of times. I go to the arcade manager and get him kicked out.
Now it gets fun. He's waiting there with one of his other ugly little wigger friends outside the arcade... apparently his mom left him there for the day. He's just like "yo wtf man what did you do that poopy for..." and gets up in my face. I grab him and his little friend and throw them down a flight of stairs in the parking garage.

Moral of the story, I HATE LITTLE KIDS WHO MESS WITH YOU WHILE YOU'RE PLAYING!

dumb question what's the big deal about playing barefoot? I mean, if you're wearing shoes then you aren't getting any dirtier than you would anyway and if you aren't then you can't complain...
