*sigh*
I posted an interview with Andamiro back in March on Bemanistyle and they publically said that they were already working on a new "Mix."
I do wish people would share information (or read) a bit better...I think it's because Pump just isn't as much in the limelights as DDR or ITG. _________________

The new arcade version is nearly complete, actually. Rumor is that it won't neglect the Freestylers, like Zero sorta did. It'll be great! _________________

New PIU, eh? Sounds good to me. Maybe if I'm lucky the Funplex will get it and I'll finally be able to get into Pump. |

Wow sorry guys i didn't know this was alredy known. information is a bit slow since no one really cares about pump here. Plus pump seems to be the runt of the litter in dance games so you never know if it's going to be the last :X |

i guess thats why pump is the most popular dance game world wide.
In the US, its DDR, Pump, then ITG.
In Japan, Its DDR only.
In Europe, it's (pretty much) DS only.
Everywhere else, its pump.
Pump is the only dance game popular world wide. Korea, mexico, and now china all have pump machines. You see little to no DDR/ITG in those areas.
On this forum, yes, Pump is the runt of the little because this forum is full of people not willing to try something new for once. Shut up ITG fanboys. All ITG is is DDR with the difficulty jacked up a few notches, nothing more.
I like to call ITG Stepmania Arcade Edition.
as far as a new Pump mix, i'm totally pumped(pun not intended), but no one around here will get it. I want another home mix

I think the main reason Pump isn't so popular in the states is due to accessability issues (although with Exceed out for PS2, that really shouldnt be the case for anyone wanting to try it out). But yeah, don't think there are nearly as many Pump machines in the US as DDR machines, and maybe ITG machines. Heck, the only reason I really got into Pump and ITG, is because the arcade I used to work at had both. (it was great) |

nah pump it up has a bigger fanbase than ITG. More arcades have PIU than ITG. It's definitely bigger in the US. _________________

Wow dude take that back! ITG just owns DDR. DDR is now the shltiest dane game out there i absolutly HATE! DDR, However I am much more talented in pump then ITG (up to 11's itg pump im up to 18's) I still think ITG is slightly better only because of the music is just oragasmic that they have compared to pump. I mean face it guys how tired are you of hearing SPANISH, RAP, and some really fu.cked up electronic music that isn't even musical (extravaganza). I don't even know why there are so many songs in spanish! it's a korean game!. OK please don't get me wrong PIU is just oragasmic! i live for this game, however I find this game extreamly hard to find. I live in NJ and any arcades you go to it's all Dee Dumb ARGH! stupid no bar. Heck even ITG machines are rare but there are still quite a few. There is only one pump machine close to me at CEC and it's exceede 2 not zero. I bug the manager there all the time to upgrade that damn thing (dosen't CEC have some kind of deal with andamiro or somthing because almost every CEC has pump!) ANYWAYZZZZ I am extreamly excited for the next mix even though i havn't even tried zero yet! I was just really upset that they took out get up that booby song and some other really good songs that they had in exceed 2 it's not like that they had licenced these songs they were made by banya. why were they removed Limited space? thx |

since i dont want this to turn into a PIU DDR OR ITG? debate i'm gonna give you my 2 cents on that kid that posted all that crap.
the songlists are all based on opinion. A lot of people love that "fu.cked up" electronic and it definitely is music. And whats so bad about spanish music? Don't like not understanding lyrics? Cry about it. Rap, although one of my leasts favorite genres, works marvelousely for PIU. And andamiro licences decnet rap songs and makes damn good steps to go with them.
and i will not take back what i said about ITG. I actually forgot to edit something. ITs actually DDR with the difficulty jacked up a bit along with a less varied songlist. There we go. _________________

Aren't PUI machines cheaper than DDR or ITG? I think that may be a big part of why PUI is supposedly bigger around the world. China Mexico, Korea? Not the "richest" of countries, are they? Access to PUI may be easier than DDR and ITG outside of the US, Japan, and Europe, which probably contributes to its popularity.
On a side note, I need to get Exceed some time soon. IT's been many years since I've played it.
Note: I only use the word "supposedly" because I've never been around the world. _________________

OK 3 questions
1 i have heard that 5x 6x and 7x speed mods are available in pump zero is this true?
2. dose the new pump have a title yet?
3 have there been any confirmed songs.
and sorry if i sounded a bit harsh on the pump songs i do like them all except a few of the rap songs, and i don't mind spanish music it's just that it's a bit over done. i really like itg's music alot. |

Contrary to all popular belief, DDR and PIU are both accesible in Mexico, though in the Southern part of Mexico PIU is more popular than DDR, and in the north DDR (specially in the Border States) is way more popular than Pump.
Like my city there are at least 6 or 7 DDR machines, we haven't seen an 'official' PIU machine, we even have ITG but no PIU!
Even on Southern American countries both are popular.
As far as I know, the price range for DDR and PIU machines doesn't differ much, though DDR is a little more expensive. _________________
