my local LAN gaming center is allowing me to fix up the DDR pads for a day of gaming there, and they have 2 cobalt fluxes. I already have a cleaning guide and i know what im doing with all of that, but i need to know where I can get some grip tape for the bottom of the pad, because the original tape is all torn off. I'm thinking i could use a yoga mat, but grip tape seems like it would work better. Anyhow, do you have any idea where I could get this?
I'm also thinking of replacing the screws with flathead screws. One of the other LAN gaming centers has this, and they are MUCH nicer to use than the stock screws on a cobalt flux. Any idea what flathead screws i should get for the pad? _________________

There is a gripping surface for rugs you can buy at Home Depot or another hardware store. It's sticky on one side and a burlap-like texture on the other. An alternative you can buy at Wal-Mart is a roll of rug grip tape. Kinda the same idea, but it's foamy.
For the screws, remove one from the pad so you can see what you can buy that will be similar to it. You'll probably want to look at wood screws, since I think that's all there really is in the flathead variety. That's all I could find when I replaced the screws in my pad. |

By grip tape do you mean like, skateboard grip tape? Because you'd have to go to a skate store to get that. But there is stuff like Weston mentioned that is foamy and is used on desks and for rugs. It seems to work pretty well and you can find in in lots of different sizes at a lot of stores. That wouldn't be too hard to get. _________________
