Yeah, it's me again, the trouble maker. I recently purchased some kind of Ninja DDR pad (I don't know what the model is exactly but I do have a picture: )

Anyway, my question is: can you wear shoes without it breaking? I am so used to playing without shoes that when I go to the arcade I fail the simplest songs and I would like to get used to wearing shoes. I would appreciate help from anyone who has one of these pads or knows about them.

hey, tell me, does it give the arcade-like feel? (are the buttons indented?)
and do those little things on the pad in the corners simulate the arcades triangle things in the middle of the pad?

im thinking about getting one

P.S.

theres the pic, you use EZ Code on most forums

Dude, You obviously wear shoes when playing on any metal pad or hard pad. It's lame if you don't and how would it break it? Metal pads are meant for shoes. So I beg you to wear shoes E1.gif

It seems really fragile. The arrows (especially the back one) sink in about half an inch. I paid a lot for it and I can't return it if it breaks because I bought it on Ebay.

Yes, the buttons are indented. I'm not sure what that last thing you asked meant, though. E19.gif

That's what I did; I had Disable BBCode checked for some reason.... Thanks though.

You can use shoes, but I'd be hesitant to use them also. I'd be paranoid that I'd break the pad.

Metal pads are made so you can use shoes; to give you the arcade-feel.

All ninja pads are TX1501/TX2501 or TX4000/TX6000 clones. The only thing that separates the ninja and TX-series is name and logo. Basicly it is a same pad.

No need to worry though. The pads are pretty good and durable. They are maybe the best "cheap metal pads". If you use e-bay, the TX-metal pads are there ninja pads.
