an arcade size popn controller is about 3 feet across (33 inches). the smaller ones are about a foot across; the size of a iidx controller almost. _________________

Basically if I remember correctly, in Pop'n 10 any combination of 3 red tiems will generally unlock something, and blue things will cause you to not unlock something. Have fun with that unlock system :\
And Pop'n 9's unlock system is cool for about the first hour, then it just becomes pointless, long, and stupid.
8, 11, and 12 are the only ones with good unlock systems so far, because they aren't completely dependent on pure randomness. I guess technically 9 isn't either, if you actually bother to write down every path you took or look online to find out directions to a specific letter floor. But IMO, that is too much work for a simple unlock system. _________________

the correct roulette sequence to unlock popn10 is to screw the roulette and time unlock.
on that strain, get a turbo controller and put a book or something on the circle button while youre in arcade mode. leave for about 8 or 9 hours.
or, you could try and get all golds in the roulette. that unlocks everything.
11 has the best unlock system, its not based on skill. at all. _________________

I have a question. I've been playin Pop'n for quite a while now, and have been able to unlock only some of the EX difficulties for the songs on pop'n 9-12. How do you unlock ALL of them? |

Two ways:
-Every time you play an EX on your Extra Stage, it's unlocked for normal play. So if you play the same songs every time as your ES, stop; you'll unlock more if you play new stuff.
-If you finish the unlock games completely everything else is unlocked, EXes included. |

depends what you do to it. if youre playing it, probably the only problem you might get is a worn out microswitch after a few years. if youre playing it with a baseball bat, the buttons might crack. but i really beat on my controller, and havent had any problems with loose wires, broken switches, or anything really. just clean under the buttons every month and it will probably last until popn20. _________________

Well, in all honestly, the arcade that has it "near" my house (read: 60 miles away) actually has a less responsive controller than the ASC, but is still basically functioning fine. You might get a few ghost notes now and then on a hard song, but for the most part, it will probably not break completely on you. Plus they're not as bloody loud as the ASCs. _________________

Thanks to Mokai's vids @ Youtube, I'm longing to play the game.
On another note, does anyone know where I can find PoMu notecharts?
Thanks. _________________

Bemanistyle.com has Pop'n Music note charts if you want to look around. |

Thanks.
Moving on, is it true that Des-ROW is the PoMu series sound producer (DDR: Naoki; GFdm: Mutsuhiko Izumi; IIDX: dj. TAKA); if not, who is? _________________

*I read back and didn't see any answers to my questions, so here I go...*
1) Is there any way to unlock Knock Out Regrets without Str!ke? (time unlock maybe?)
2) On my copies of Pop n 7 & 10, I noticed a mode call Omake. What the hell is it and how do I use it??? _________________

congrats for reading the entire thread! now for your rewards.
1) i know of no way to unlock knock out regrets (punkish girl) that doesnt include str!ke. same with ska and hard country without gfdmv.
2) omake is a collection of pictures that you collect from beating the game on arcade mode. its just for looking at, i think. _________________

If you write down you score at the arcade, then I'm pretty sure you can take them home and put them into Pop'n Navy. :\ |
