I prefer ITG 2 because the stepcharts actually go to the music, the songs are for the most part on sync, the timing window makes sense, it's more challenging, wayyy better scoring system, ITG 2 dedicabs are without a doubt superior to Supernova cabinets, and this is just an opinion, but I enjoy the music much more on ITG 2.

Well, I went to the Funplex earlier, and played both DDR SN and ITG2. I still hold to my former statement that I like both games, and true to my word, dumped copious amounts of tokens into each. Failed Summer Speedy Mix but had the time of my life doing it, and accidentally ended up playing HVAM on 3x...that was a rush!

Anyway, both games are still good in my opinion.

I'd prefer the upgraded SN. ITG's additional mods and added difficulty don't do it for me, since i will never be able to do anything 10+ without a controller (Low stamina, too many breaks from the game). I don't care for hands and rolls, but mines are okay. They mostly make things more challenging than fun, and IMO challenging stepcharts do not mean fun. The music also hurts the game. I don't like ITG2's music, and IMO around 75% of a good song is the music. Less than 25% goes to the chart, and I think other minor things factor in. If the stepchart sucks a lot, but the music is good, it doesn't matter to me. Although SN's interface looks better, ITG's more informative interface is more "functional."

I know this sounds wrong since I just added to the topic, but just let everyone play their own game. If someone prefers ITG over DDR or DDR over ITG, fine, but don't start anymore debate or war about something that's meant to be fun.

I have played ITG 2 enough to the point where I know what's coming most of the time, I know every song, every lyric, blah, blah, blah. Same with Extreme.

Right now, I have to say I adore Supernova :-) Starting all over again with a new machine has always been one of those things that makes me giddy, like peeling the plastic off a new game, movie or CD.

It's nice to have the freshness of a new Smile.DK song like Golden Sky. I was at the point where everytime Butterfly was played, I wanted to rake my nails on a chalkboard :-D

But I've said it before and I'll say it again, I love them both equally and when Supernova loses it's "freshness" my tokens will probably be divided once again.

Well say if you guys go to the arcade to dance (ociously you do) do you see mre people at a Itg2 machine or Ddr? Well i see lots of people who just play for fun like begginers. So at my Gameworks I see that and i also see many people playing Itg2 (experts) mostly.
