The Stepmania Team and I are proud to annouce that we are holding an orignial stepfile contest-dubbed Stepmania StepMix 1.0!

For those who don't read the rules, all stepfiles must be ORIGINAL, and all music and graphics must either be your own, or you must obtain the artist's permission.
Any who don't follow the above rule will be DISQUALIFIED.
And yes, the Stepmania Devs (and "consultants from the In the Groove team") are the judges.
Post your comments, concerns, and questions here.
The deadline is January 15th.
Winners will be announced a week or so after that on the Stepmania website.
In addition, the winning entries will be put on a Stepmania Complete CD, which we may or may not sell to benefit the project.
We'd love to have a big turnout--tell your friends!
Oh, and I almost forgot, there are CASH PRIZES!

Any idea if the judges are going to be going by pad-play quality or keyboard-play quality? Or both?
Are hand/mines okay? I'm guessing Rolls would probably be discouraged because very few people use the CVS builds, but I do wonder if hands/mines are okay. |

1. I don't think they'll be used in ITG. But you'll GET one for winning...
2. I'd say Pad. That's how I'm judging mine. I'll pull out my Ignition V3's and play through each.
