just was wondering what you guys thought were the hardest ddr songs, give me a list of your top 5 
heres mine
1. max 300 super max me mix (ultramix 2)
2. paranoia survivor max (oni steps) (8th mix)
3. the legend of max (8th mix)
4. maxX unlimited (7th mix)
5. Max. (period) (8th mix jp)

This has already been discussed. And SMMM is not harder than Max. or PSMO. At least not on Heavy.

It also should be in the Gameplay forums, so it'll probably be locked. Nontheless, my choices are:
1. PSMO - That thing would be at least a hard 11 in ITG. Those runs are harder and twistier than those from most songs in ITG get.
2. Fascination MaxX - This song has the most confusing speed changes ever, not to mention it's by far the most techical song in DDR, as well as the hardest to PA. It's not as tiring or difficult to pass as PSMO, though.
3. Max. (Period) - Lots of tiring runs throughout, as well as a 600 bpm section that's difficult to read even on 1x.
4. Max 300 (SMMM) Oni - The run at the ending is very difficult, although to me the hardest parts of the song are the consecutive jumps that require extremely fast foot movement. I never seem to fail on the runs because of how repetitive the patterns are.
5. MaxX Unlimited - The difficult patterns in the later part of the song are more than enough to make this one of the most technical songs in DDR.

In order from hardest to least hardest:
1. FAXX Oni
2. Chaos Oni
3. PSMO
4. FAXX Heavy
5. Xepher Oni
Yes I threw Chaos Oni in as number 2 due to it's erratic pauses, and Xepher as number 5, not stamina wise, but technical wise...it's pretty hard to do well on it without speed mods.

I'm getting hell good at crossovers, so I'm going to put PSMO lower than most.
FaXX Oni
FaXX Heavy
PSMO
Max.
Max300 SMMM Oni
That being said, none of these charts are truly difficult to pass once you know what's coming.

Just because a song isn't a WHOMG FAST BPM or a Stamina killer, doesn't mean it's not hard. I find the ending to Xepher really tricky, and a few crossovers are rather difficult, especially sightreading the song.
And why would you put d2r in there...at all? I hope that's sarcasm.

It's because of how offsync it is. That doesn't make it harder than the likes of PSMO and Fascination MaxX, though.

Lol...I never play the song unless I have to for an Oni course, and the only one I have for is N. Standard (or Neo-Standard...can't remember).
