We all know that the lead singer is the same in both.
However in discographies and performances, they refer to missing heart just as E-Rotic. Why did DDR and ITG use the missing heart name for songs that didnt feature male vocals (well touch me didnt have any either...).
Example : Queen of Light Live _________________

Yes . After some interenet searching, I figured out the difference in why these songs have different names.
Songs with the name "E-Rotic" are sung by the singer Lydia Madawjewski.
Songs with the name "Missing Heart" are sung by the singer Lyane Leigh.

Go to this sight, and you'll see the songs Charlene, Lemmings on the Run, and Touch Me, all sung by Lydia Madawjewski. Notice how Touch Me does have male vocals . And, listen to Lemmings on the Run, and you'll notice where the ITG cut is. There's also a lot of info about the history of E-Rotic on that page as well. Listen to the female vocals in Charlene. Now, go listen to the ITG version of Charlene, and listen to the female vocals. Different, right? That's because Lyane Leigh is the vocalist in the ITG cut of the song. Now listen to the ITG version of Queen of Light. Sounds like the same singer from Charlene, but different from Lemmings on the Run and Touch Me? Sure does. In essence, they are/were E-Rotic singers, and this was ITG's way of differentiating between the two singers.
Also, notice how Touch Me and Lemmings on the Run were introduced after 1999. Lyane Leigh continued to do vocals for E-Rotic until 1999, then she left to be in a different group. There were different vocals in 2000 and so on. _________________

E-Rotic page wrote: | The history of E-Rotic is complicated and filled with controversy. Lyane Leigh, the incredible singer, officially quit the group after the first album because of a disagreement in her contract. However, because of her contract, she had to sing the vocals to all the E-rotic Records until the album Gimme Gimme Gimme. This of course was all secret at that time.
Lyane began her own group called "SEX Appeal" and had some success. She also has continued a solo pop career singing German songs. |
I think I made a mistake, Lyane Leigh is the vocalist for all of these songs. Obviously, Kiss Me and Touch Me are different songs, and Touch Me doesn't have male vocals. "Touch Me" is Lyane Leigh because she was required to do the vocals until the album where Touch Me was introduced. Lemmings on the Run came much later after her contract was up, but I still think it's labeled as E-Rotic because there is a male vocal in the song.
What I bolded is the answer to our questions. They even said it themselves. I think it's best that we leave it alone, don't question it, and just enjoy the music _________________
