| Ok. We all should know by now that ITG is going to PC. Who think this is a bad idea? I mean, think about it. After this shows up in the marketplace, there is going to be oh so many bootleg machines popping up everywhere, because all you will need to do is buy a copy of ITG PC and a PC, slap it into an empty dance cabinet, make the dance pads work, make it automaticly start up when powered on, and poof. A (probably) crappy cabinet. Your thoughts? |

Anyone could've already done it by making a StepMania cabinet with an ITG (or whatever you want) theme.

| Yes, but it would not be exactly like ITG. People would be able to tell the difference and quickly dismiss the location. But now, it will be a lot easier to do, and it would look a lot more like the arcade version, because it pretty much is. |

Actually as long as the pads worked and the machine ran fine no one playing it would care if it were SM or ITG. In fact people might like a SM machine *more* because it may have more than just ITG on it (or woul dhave the potential for such).

I like how "make the dance pads work" is just a simple step, no complicated technical knowlege or rewiring needed.
As other people have posted it's already possible to make a SM cab, and believe it or not, theyre not exactly bursting out in arcades <_< ITG PC is a bad idea for one reason: RoXoR is porting Stepmania to it's native platform, the PC.
