1. Can you sheet-metal mod a TX-4000?
1a. If so, does it increase the longevity as well as sensitivity?
2. Should I just save up for a Cobalt Flux? Or would a TX-4000 suit my purposes*?
*purposes= a ddr pad that can stay with me and handle tough songs later on. a pad I can use when I learn how to go from medium/hard to expert. _________________
I have no experience with the TX-4000 but as far as Expert (I assume ITG) I don't think anything comes close to a CF, especially in the durabillity department. You can find a used CF usually for around $200 if you check forums.
I'm planning on getting a TX-4000 for my GF (She plays 4-6 footers) I can be fair-er then when I break it _________________

Another question.
Should I bother with the Ignition 3.0 from Best Buy?
I don't weigh much, and plan to use a chair to play stepmania on my computer where I'd be playing at Medium-Hard difficulty. _________________
