Like my comment (which you can read near the bottom) say, this is nice and all but CAN YOU PLEASE STOP RIDING THE GH HYPE WAGON FOR 5 SECONDS I GIVE US SOME DIRT ON ITG2!!!!! We've been waiting alot longer for that. (that and RedOctane wouldn't have GH if not for us pioneering music/rhythm gamers to begin with)

I don't see why Guitar Hero II would be put on 360, but I don't care. My neighbor has a 360 and I would be glad to play it at his house.

Music games don't need to be on next-gen systems, just compatable on them.

I bet all the Guitar Hero fans can't wait to hear they get to buy their Guitar controller all over to playing GH in HD

There's a thread, and here's a novel idea. Instead of posting about your disdain for the game in THIS thread, why not go post about it in THAT thread. You know, the thread specifically designed to talk about why you don't like GH. I'm not in love with GH or anything, but I think a 360 version would be pretty cool now that I actually have one and considering the music-game count on the 360 is pitifully low at the moment.

the music game count is so low because theres no NEED FOR MUSIC GAMES ON 360! you cant hold anymore songs(which a PS2/XB disk can already hold more than enough), microsoft sucks and wont let anyone make wireless controllers, music games dont need to be in HD, and you can do pretty much everything online-wise on normal xbox.

I dont think GH2 is a stupid idea on xbox, but on xbox 360 it is.

But it still wont change the fact that i think GH sucks.

And in any case I'd rather not drop a whole $40 for a new guitar when a game+guitar bundle is $70. I've beat everything on GH anyway.

Seeing as how Xbox Live's implementation is 10 times better on 360 than it is on Xbox, I don't think it's pointless on 360 at all, especially if it'll have a wide variety of online multiplayer modes.

That, and I love Achievements. =)

Another plus: if the new guitar uses USB (which it would have to, unless it's wireless), it might be cross-compatible with PS2.

Footnote: the only people here who don't like Guitar Hero are the ones who can't appreciate good American rock music. Stick to your oddball J-Rock and STFU.

i also love red hot chili peppers....its just the fact guitar hero has star power, doesnt grade you on percision, and the fact you can't strum extra notes because it will just make the "you messed up" noise.

still dont get why it would be so great for it to be on xbox 360. I mean, if they made it for xbox that would be fine by me, but 360 is just stupid. You can do xbox live on normal xbox also you know.
