DDR needs to just keep making home versions long enough for ITG to figure out how to cut loading times. _________________

I (as well as many others) believe that Konami threw DDR:SN together real quick just so they would have something against RoXoR in the court case.
Think about it:
1. Quickly thrown together
2. Tons of errors/glitches
3. Konami announced a long time ago that there will be "No more DDR Arcade"
Now, I know, on Extreme cabs it stated "We're starting over!"
Now, instead of jumping to conclusion, lets look at this another way.
1. Starting over doesn't have to mean that they are going to be making a new DDR arcade game. "We're starting over!" sounds to me like they're changing alot of things. Now, do you see much of a difference between SN and Extreme? Sure the Interface and songs... But other than that, it's pretty much the same.
Now lets see, DDR extreme and Extreme 2 for the PS2 seem alot different than normal DDR mixes...Alot different.
I think the original intent of "We're starting over, means we're taking a new approach and you will see new Home versions cause that is where the money is *sniffs own fart*"
And, We're starting over could be poorly translated Japanese into English.
All I'm saying is that Konami doesn't care about the player. At least not anymore...
Now, don't get me wrong, I like DDR, but I do not respect Konami one bit. They have let me down and broken my heart to many times.
I think that Konami is done with DDR arcade and they are nothing but greedy, soul-less, inconsiderate assholes how can't take a little friendly competition.
DDR:SN2? Never gonna happen! |
You know Konami didnt really even have to release super Nova. I mean come on think about it, half the songs that are for supernova are on extream at the arcade and people were happy with it. Just stick to the consoles is the way I see it. |

Have you ever noticed that ITG fanboys still like DDR, however, DDR fanboys will bash ITG to the ground, burn it, bury it, and spit on it's ashes?
Yeah, seems pretty imature to me too...
Think about it. |
Thats odd... I've seen more ITG fans bash DDR on this site more than the other way around. |

No, I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of fanboys on each side that like to bash the other game to the ground. _________________

Both ITG2 and DDR:SN have been quickly thrown together and are filled with a lot of bugs.

Roxor makes games for gamers by gamers.
Konami make games for gamers for profit.
Roxor knows what makes a good game cause they play the game.
Konami knows what makes money...a name (DDR)
Roxor listents to arcade owners and arcade players.
Konami listens to the sound of their wallets getting bigger.
Roxor knows how to make good freindly competition.
Konami is affraid of any competition at all.
I remember when the first word of the Roxor vs. Konami case first around, Konami called ITG "an inferior product".
Konami was the first to point and call names. In fact, I don't think Roxor has ever said anything bad about Konami.
In case I haven't mentioned this, I have nothing against DDR. I love DDR, always will. I despise Konami, I despise them with a passion! They are greedy and imature. I won't stop untill the whole world knows it.
This whole lawsuit is total bullshit. I don't want Konami out of business. I don't want them to lose any money over this. I just want them to drop the case and realize that there is plenty of room for two.
Can you say, Monopoly? _________________
Call it DDR! Call it ITG! Either way, it still taste like chicken.
Konami created it (DDR), RoXoR perfected it (ITG), and we should all respect them equally. |

Amen.
Yeah, R1 dedicabs had plenty of bugs, but then go and look at even a R5 dedicab. Lots of bugs/problems were fixed by that point. And, if you had an R1 dedicab that couldn't be upgraded, for $30, Roxor would ship you new hardware that could be upgraded. To me, that shows that they truly care about their customers and fans. |

*Thinks*
People should make upgradable Stepmania Dedicabs and sell them to arcades to fix all of the problems people complain about.

ITG2 suffers from a few courses that say you hit mines and one or two songs with a slight syncing issue.
Do you honestly believe with all your heart that SN is comparable with that? Supernova's biggest problem that people complain about is syncing, and frankly, that's a huge problem. It's on a decent amount of songs, not just Tough Enough and Drifting Away if you catch my drift. _________________

I'm an ITG fangirl, who now dislikes DDR/Konami.
If you are wondering why here are MY reasons:
Konami is stupid. They have stated that they would not be making another mix. So another company (Roxor) decides to save the future of music games and comes out with a newer, better version. Then Konami throws a hissy fit and sues them.
Secondly, you people that hate ITG have made me hate DDR. You are too freaking stupid to realize that the game is easier to read, easier for beginners, harder for experts, funner, more on beat, glitches are easily fixable through memory cards, etc. The list goes on why the game is at very least, an alright game. But yet you people hate it just because it exists.
I hope Konami doesn't make another mix. And for god's sake, why did they bring back background dancers?! |

I think ddr is almost dead in japan how ever I do think there will be a ddr 10nth anniversary the final mix in 2008.
I'd like to know that SN was made because konami wanted to make another ddr not to surpass itg.To bad it's the other way around.
Oh I do think there will still be home versions though atleast in the us and uk. _________________
