They had to make the song dramatic for the show... The editing sucked... They zoomed in on the chrorus like 10 times there... Weird enough, I want the version of Can't Stop Fallin' In Love (Speed Mix) that they did. I like the extended ending.
Either way, it was pretty obvious that it wasn't synched. And in reality, he had a 1:33 seconds to get that record. <_< But I take it they took the 3 seconds off where there were no arrows.

You're right, the editing did suck. I don't think they used an extended version, though; I think they just cut the normal version into pieces and mixed them around, using some of them more than once. _________________

True... They didn't use an extended version... The song is 1:33... He had 1:30. <_< I just contradicted myself up there. Ignore that.
Even if they did play the song, they probably wouldn't have noticed he had another 3 seconds. |

Was it just me or did the announcer for master of champions say "can he beat his record of 250 combos"? |

You're right, they don't know anything about ddr so give them a break though. _________________

I love how they were impressed by the amazing foot skill, foot speed and dexterity to play DDR. Lol.
Good job Billy Matsumoto on winning, but the flaming clubs were far more impressive than 249 combo..............of course this is coming from DDRFreak where we consider it an abominable run if we don't SDG CSFILSM.
Anyways, gj Master of Champions. _________________

I was going to post a video of me dancing Barbie Girl IF, and only IF, he had done a course. But since he did the same song, and he din't beat his record of 250 combo, I'm not posting it. Besides, you wouldn't want to watch a 13 guy dancing to Barbie girl with a pink wig... It's hilarious!, but stupid. Even tough he did win tonight's master of champions, still: Im not gonna do it. _________________

I can't believe that some people are complaining about the editing. Who cares? The show cast DDR in a positive light and showed someone who was a very good player instead of some 10 year old kid playing on light mode. |

Congratulations, Billy!
I was worried the audience wouldn't "get" what he was doing but he made it look good.
For all the editting they did on the segment, I think they could have editted out the "vaseline" comment. That was just creepy.... |

I don't know if I'm right or not but I could have sworn he had like a 100 something combo then got a good. After that they zoomed in after like 5 seconds and he was back up in the high 100's. I might be wrong but that's what I think I noticed. _________________
