I don't see the point of getting a Konami IIDX ASC when Desktop Arcade (I don't mean to advertise, I know a handful of people handbuild ASCs) will build you one with Sanwa buttons for under $300. |

I'm a video game collector. Buying expencive things that I can get the same/better quality of for less with something else is what I do. Wait...what?
Those Desktop Arcades do look nice. So do the Ransai's though. Hmmm....well, I don't think I'll be getting an ASC for a lil' while anyway. I might, I might not. But right now I'm having lots of fun with my Konami brand IIDX controller. That thing rocks! |

The thing about the 3rd party ones is that (At least in the case of Pop'n Music and IIDX) they usually use or have the option to use higher quality parts than the official ASC.
But for me, my BMUS controller will be fine _________________

sanwa is a japanese manufacturer that makes the buttons on a IIDX machine.
The IIDX ASC by Konami does not use these buttons, even though the arcades use them.
They are available from the majority of the third party iidx controller makers.
Ransai, what ransai. They've had people waiting almost a year for that product that still has yet to be released |
