And just in case the above video wasn't enough...
Kill it? Hahaha, the Cobalt Flux is more than capable of handling anything your shoes can do to it. In fact, your CF will probably kill your shoes.  I recently had to get new DDR shoes because after nearly a year of heavy use on my CF, the rubber on the bottoms of my NewBalance running shoes started to fall apart.

Part of the reason I got a CF was so I COULD play in shoes. |

Of course you can use shoes on it. That's one of it's main purposes. |

What the crap are you talking about?!  Dude, Shoes won't kill even a tx1000...  well I wouldn't go that far, but...  . I'll seriously give you a million bucks if shoes are the cause of your cf's death... not really, but you get the point

Lexan + Socks = Possible death.
I can play up to maybe 8 feet in socks before I start tripping like hell. I bought a special pair of shoes for my CF though, can't dirty it up now
