Has anyone received the new Nexen pad from mymybox yet?? I ordered mine a week ago, and still have not received a tracking number or anything, even though it says its supposed to ship the same business day. No response to e-mails, phone calls, or posts on their forums! Anyone have any experiences like this or anything from mymybox?? |

I was wondering about the Nexen myself... it kind of seemed to drop off the radar. I was looking at Mymybox's product page for the Nexen, and I noticed this:

So I think that explains why you haven't gotten your pad yet. It's another 3 days until it actually comes out. However, the fact that they apparently can't respond to an e-mail to give you that information is rather disconcerting. |

Well that gives me a little hope with them changing the release date. I DID talk to someone there a few days ago, FINALLY. And after calling 100 times. He was VERY hard to understand though, but I think he said something about them having to order some controller boxes from China. He still promised me an e-mail from the shipping department, that I have not received. |

after posting all this, I FINALLY got an e-mail response when I got home from work tonight. Here is their e-mail:
Quote: | We apologize for late reponse.
We recentlyl received new shipment from china for this new nexen pads and piu metal pads. we were testing the nexen pads before we ship out to our customers. We notice that there is a problem on the ps2 control box. So we request manufacturer in China to make it new one and send it by air. According to manufacture, it will take about 1 week to make it and 7-10 days for air shipping.
We will be sending out emails to our customer like you regarding this matter. We thought that we would rather be sorry now then later on -after sending faulty control box.
If you want to cancel the order, we will cancel the order of nexen pad.
Once again, we apologize for inconvenient service. |
So is that one week and 7-10 days from NOW, or from when I talked to them on the phone last week? *sigh* I guess I'll just try to sit back and wait. They haven't charged my credit card, so I do trust that I will receive it, it's just a matter of WHEN.. and if I can be patient or not |

Haha- is this place stationed out of Thaiwan or something? Very bad Engrish .
And about you're question, yes, I'm assuming that means 2+ weeks of waiting . |

Just wondering if I'm the only one here that is waiting for one of these?? I haven't seen many posts about this pad.
Should I say forget it and cancel the order, and go with the TX4000 maybe?
They are communicating better, but they are still waiting for a control box from China, and I'm getting very impatient. |

It's up to you to decide, but I'm very curious to see what the Nexen pads are like. Unfortunately, I don't have $235 to spend on a pad and shipping at the moment. I personally would like it if you waited and got the pad so you could post your impressions, but I'm just some guy you've never met on the internet. =P If you'd rather cancel and order a TX4000, go for it. Once I get a real job, I can try for it myself if I really want to. |
