In all honestly, I own a pair of boots like that, but I don't ever play in them. I usually wear a pair of heavy shoes, like DVS, if I am trying to get my stamina up; I wear my light shoes, CIRCA, if I am trying to PA or playing against someone.

Or rollerskates.

Barefoot at home and regular sneakers at the arcade. My shoe got caught on the metal part of the pad and I fell over while playing Matsuri Japan. riiight.gif

HA!! An old, old, old pair of Reebok Premier Road Lite running sneakers that I keep around just for DDR.

Seriously, the soles on these things are about as thick as potato chips, but they are perfect for feeling out the depressed arrows on the arcade pad.

I play barefoot at home, and lo-top converse at the arcades... which are rare around here, so I don't get to play outside of the house too much.

Anyway, Jammys, you wear hi-tops when you play? I admire you, especially if you lace them up the whole way. I find it really difficult to even think about playing in hi-tops... my ankles are too restricted. Just doesn't work for me. E15.gif It's cool that you can do it.

i gotta play with some protection on my feet.as if i want to freestyle or PA on the dance pads.and that would be tennis shoes.

so i never want to play bare footed....dude i am not a Flintstone and i do not want to scratch up the soles of my feet with metal parts like nuts and bolts or whatever might be on the metal pads.

high heels, any hard heel dress shoes,or athletic cleats are brutal to any dance pads.it can damage the sensors real bad!

back to the top, that is what i wear and prefer before stepping on to the dance machine!

I personally play with my socks. But that's because the first day i ever played i got icee spilt in my shoes and so i couldn't play with them and to this day im just used to socks. (even though they were a bit sticky!)

Same for home version.

Whatever is on my feet. At the arcade, it will either be my regular shoes (late fall, winter, and early spring) therwise, its sandals. At home, I'm barefoot. Socks make a weird sound on the ignition pad, and I don't wear shoes in the house.

Very nice to know I'm admired.

I also have a pair of lo-tops, but I'm used to to using hi-tops.
