Hehe...well...

I have a little formula I came up with in seconds to calculate ability, and it goes like this...

Ability=|total completion - 100X| where total completion is of a certain play style (i.e. Single, Double, Marathon, etc.) and X = either 1 or 0, 1 being a bar whore, and 0 not.

I know what you thinking, "So someone (possibly a quadraplegic) could wriggle on a dancing platform and start getting 20 to 30 percents on easy songs, or, songs on Easy and have a greater number on you faggoty little equation there for ability than the best in the nation?"

Yes, the equation does NOT lie, what's your point?

So, all the people you guys have referenced prior are hovering well below 1, or even one tenth, whereas I'm looking at a good hearty 10-11. However I'm not the best, and in my opinion Pickles is, and if we're talking serious buisness here, then that crazy guy whose so good at doubles (or so I heard) I believe it was like TJ33 or something, I just too self-centered to remember names.

But Pickles uses the bar now, so your whole equation just went to crap.

(so does TJ3)

Based off your combo in the vid, it seems Air wasn't the only thing. I wish I could trick my legs into moving fast, but I'm fat, and fat people suck at this.

Hmmmm....I would have to say Footz. Yeah yeah, scores are not very impressive, so what? He is a good friend of mine. We only get to go up maybe once a week, sometimes only once every two weeks. And it's for maybe 4 hours at a time.

His speed reading is retarded though. And he's impressing the hell out of me with his double's playing right now.

And considering he is top ten on DD:Recall says something.

Oh yeah, I am the best....I passed PSMO on beginner with only 1 great. Yeah, I BF'd it. On reverse also, and on sudden. 1x!!

I don't think people still play DDR, but JSB was the best player I ever saw. He also had the highest WARP I have ever calculated (12.1)

As to who is the current best player of ITG, Mike has the highest WARP (9.7 as of July 1st), but this might be partially due to the fact that he has played more then Damien in tournaments I have access too.

It would be either Mike or Damien.

Okay, look, sorry, but that joke is really getting extremely old. We all know Cartoon Heroes is merely arguably the hardest DDR 9 footer, and I personally find it irritating to continuously pretend as if it were practically impossible. Where did this idea even come from, anyway?

Anyways, now that I've seen how much better Damien's scores are than JJSz's (JJSz beats him only with his Charelene and The Game scores), not to mention he's at the top of most song scores, he's getting my vote now.

Ha, I don't even remember how it started. Synaesthesia probably knows; I'm fairly sure he's the one who started the "17 footer" thing.

P.S. You're wrong, it's still hilarious.

I know I'm being a jackass here, but hey that's what statistics are for.

It isn't a democratic decision. The evidence simply indicates that Mike and Damien are the best tournament players in the world.

Unless you have some new evidence, or you want to define better as something beyond tournament skill, then you aren't really saying anything.

WARP?

I'm curious to know what this is and how you calculate it.

Wins Above Replacement Player.

Calculated by:

Sum of {[Player Offensive Efficiency at t0][Player Defensive Efficiency at t0] - [Replacement Player Offensive Efficiency at t0][Replacement Player Defensive Efficiency at t0]} from 0 to i, the quantity divided by i.

As an interesting consequent, WARP accurately predicts the results of a twenty song match between the player and a replacement player.

In other words, if Mike played a replacement level player right now in a 20 song match (he picks ten, his opponent picks ten, match rules), Mike would win 15/20 songs (about).

Now where did these offensive/defensive efficiencies come from?
