Your First Freeze Roll Encounter

Just a heads up, they're actually just called rolls. "Freeze rolls" comes from me barely being able to hear Kyle when rolls were first shown at the Narrows DDR Evo tournament (which would be my first experience with them, on Renaissance hard).

I was that unknowing person. It sounded like a cool song, so i chose it. when the roll came, i was like WTF? i failed.

The first freeze roll I ever saw was actually the day I played ITG for the first time. My friend was trying to pick a song and told me about the freeze rolls, then tried not to pick a song with them. But as he was running out of time, he picked July Euro Mix. When I got to the freeze rolls, I jumped on them like regular freezes and exclaimed, "I thought you said you'd pick something without these!"

I finally got around to going to the closet itg machine(which is about an hour away) and I tried July ~Euromix~ since I knew it had freeze rolls. I did them like you're supposed to...it's not really hard. Plus I think the whole different look than regular freeze arrows would give it away to anyone. Just saying.

hehe, the first roll i have seen was on a 5 footer! one of the disconnected songs on medium, i was playing it and all of a sudden, "crap!"
