I really want more mods, preferrably speed mods like 2.5, C450, C500, etc. Help is appreciated.
EDIT: nvm, got it.

Either this belongs in the PC & Simulation forum - and the answer is that the mods come with Stepmania/themes or need to be programmed/themed in, or you can only get these mods in ITG if this doesn't actually have to do with Stepmania.

open the metrics.ini file for the theme you want to add the modifiers to, and if you're using the default, then copy the metrics.ini file to a new folder and name the folder something, so that in case you mess up, the default is still the default. open metrics.ini in notepad or some basic text editor, find the line [ScreenOptionsMaster] and find the speed lines. add the modifiers you want using the same format as the other mods, and change the number Speed= to how many speed modifiers there are now.

if the names don't show up on the options menu, add a section above the screenoptionsmaster section named [OptionNames] and if you add 2.5, then add x2.5=x2.5. i don't know why, but i couldn't get it to show names other than the default unless i did that section.

hope that helps
