Greetings! Well, I have my DDR/Stepmania station set up in the basement. I'm using two Tx-4000s and have them hooked up to an xbox, ps2 and mac mini. All is working well, but the basement floor is not quite as level as one might want. There is a noticable curve to the floor under the left pad. I'm wondering what the best option might be to keep from nuking the pad. Build a wooden platform under the pads? I also thought that interlocking half-inch "safety" foam flooring one can buy from costco/etc might do the job sufficiently. Any thoughts?

It seems like a wooden platform would last longer and probably look a little nicer. |
