Beat Mania IIDX 11 Red or DDRExtreme JP?

I can't decide. Can some of you guys help me make this decision. I am fairly new to the beatmania series. I am making my way up though.

I am getting both, I just don't know which one to get first.

Sorry to break this but no-one plays DDR anymore.

Also the 'what should I buy out of XXX and XXX' is so over-done it makes me want to bash my head against the wall.

In other words, just get RED.

Well, I'm afraid I'm going to have to disagree with everyone here and tell you to get IIDX Red.

Wait a minute, you mean everyone else said that as well?

In all seriousness, DDR Extreme JP is pretty good as far as DDR goes (roughly a million times better than Extreme US), but IIDX Red will give you a lot more game for your buck in the long run. That is, unless you've never ever played DDR...

DDR JP is a waste of money, the US mixes are pretty much up to speed now, the only problem is you have to span it on 2 systems here. But ddr extreme 2 is just as good(if not better) than extreme JP. The only japanese mixes worth getting are on PS1(1st-5th, but most people use stepmania) or strike and festival if you dont have an xbox. and MAYBE max 2.

get IIDX red. I'm saving up for it this summer, but i still need a fliptop(all i have beatmania wise is beatmania US, cheapest way to get a decent controller). And i have played every JP DDR mix besides strike.

And people still play DDR, just look at me! Been playing for 2 years and still play an hour a day!

Honestly, I have both........I've been having DDREXTREME (JP) ever since it came out for the JP PS2. I've played it to death....even as a DDR game, I STILL don't place it as high as DDR 6th Mix or DDR 7th Mix.

As for beatmaniaIIDX 11Â® IIDX RED, it is the best beatmaniaIIDX CS release to date.

OK. I just started beatmania and am looking for IIDX red, but I have a US PS2, so I ahve to downlaod it somehow and htat's not easy. But Extreme JP is one of the best DDR mixes because it has TONS of songs PLUS it has Maxx.(Period) which is THE HARDEST Maxx song EVER.
