Uh, guys, I just got my first FEC on Kiss Me Red Hard. 58 excellents, 96.53%. I also got a new personal record on Delirium Hard with a 94.40%. After playing the PS2 version, I hooked up my Afterburner to Stepmania and passed Birdie Expert with a 77.89%.
I'm improving. _________________

Got 24 FEC on My Favourite Game, but hit a mine at the end...blah -98.98
99.10 on Kiss me Red

Nothing else that was too memorable. _________________

So at this point I think I'm going to go back to what I was doing when moving up through the DDR ranks--worry about building stamina and passing new songs and let the rest take care of itself, even if it means a short-term drop in my scores.
Let's see. Non-picture stuff...decided the best way for me to handle the jump....tri-puh-let-jump....tri-puh-let-jump....tri-puh-let-jump sections of Zodiac is to play Drum Drum Revolution and just do it with my hands. Yes, I'm serious. There's a section of Queen of Light where I put in hands where they're not supposed to be too. Also passed My Favourite Game after a couple attempts, with a score pretty close to my personal record. Woo!
Also, step-jumping STILL kicks my buttocks. I just don't get it.
Picture stuff:
Marathons:
Bounce (Normal)- 94.77
Freedom (Normal)- 93.27. This score is also notable in that it was the first time I've ever seen a Blue Combo. Naturally, I didn't keep it very long, but oh well. Don't ask me what happened on the end.
Songs:
Driving Force Classical (Hard)- 95.30
Fly With Me (Hard)- 94.90
Tough Enough (Expert)- 93.57
Hard * #25. Second attempt, because the first had a Way Off that I'm 99% sure wasn't my fault (I stepped an eight note early, but am confident I would have recovered and stepped it properly if the Way Off window weren't bigger than my freaking house):

Unfortunately I weigh too much so I hav 2 use the bar.
(a chair in this case).....
This I manage to sneak by w/o bar...
I almost failed this one.... plastic pads were not meant for songs over 150 BPM . _________________

Hmm. I seem to have hit something of a wall in my progress as far as getting through new stuff, or even stuff I could do on the BNS. And quite frankly, it's frustrating. Has anyone else hit this wall in their arrowsmashing development, either due to adjusting to a new pad (At this point, I'm not sure how much is the pad and how much is just me hitting my natural limit, or at least A limit in my ability) or just in general?
Anyway, a few accomplishments in spite of this.
First, I think I've figured out that Walking on Fire is late (IE I have to step later than I normally would) to enough of a degree that compensating for it gives me better results than not.
Marathon!
Hardcore Galore! (Normal)- 94.74. First try since I failed with a 50.XX some time ago, presumably on the fade out/hide target section.
Songs!
Anubis (Medium)- 97.20, improving a star I already had. EMPTYEYE SUCCUMB TO OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE BEHAVIOR!! (We'll see how in a moment)
Don't Promise Me (Hard)- 95.39
No1Nation (Hard)- 93.79
Hard Star #26. Breaking a recent trend, this took me only one try (And was the reason I went back to improve the Medium score). I also made a couple attempts at the song on Expert, and failed both at the parts with 32nds.

I passed HotN yesterday, thus making me have passed all ITG 1 12's with the exception of Tell. Garbage score, though. I got almost as many Greats as Excellents. _________________

You crazy world-class players and your crazy high speed mods.
Anyway, I think I'm finally adjusting to this Cobalt Flux with shoes things, which is definitely a plus. I'm actually passing a lot of the stuff I could do before, and even improving my scores in some cases. Hooray!
Let's see...
Marathon:
Outer World (Normal)- 94.24. I've decided that doing Marathons on X1 is just my "thing". I had always done it before, but at this point...yeah, I have no idea where I'm going with this. In any event, as with any other speed mod choice, it makes certain things easier (Fade In), certain things harder (Float), and I'll deal with it.
Songs....first, some fun with X1 Float. These were more examples of memorizing the song than really being able to read X1 Float, but whatever.
Land of the Rising Sun (Hard)- 79.76
Bubble Dancer (Hard)- 82.95
And then some straight-up stuff:
Anubis (Expert)- 82.63. Of note, I confirmed that my feet are indeed too small to cheat the hands.
Hybrid (Hard)- 90.97. *Gasp!* Another 9 I got a 90 on?!
The Game (Expert)- 89.84. ARRRGH so close.
While tha Rekkid Spins (Expert)- 81.20
Zodiac (Expert)- 83.22. I think I figured out the timing of the jump-tripul-let-jump part too (lol sup great attack).
And finally, Hard Star #27 AND Hard ** #5...maybe there are merits to this X2.5 after all...
