No, because long versions require two credits to play.
Its the same amount of playing time and the same amount of money either way. |

It should be revived for both arcade and console versions. A lot of people like hearing the full version of the song, not having it cut off right before the decent part of it... _________________

I wish that they would put them back in, the only real problem with them was that when you played them in the arcade they took the place of 2 songs.
Some songs though would be fun to do a long version to. |

2 songs is about the length of a long version so it makes sense that it works that way. Like i said before though...a mode ,like nonstop and oni, where you chose different courses with all long versions..that I think would work best. _________________

long version songs took up two stages so it's basically the same thing as if someone was going to play 2 songs (probably more beneficial because there wouldn't be song decision time in the middle).
I think it would be awesome to have like a few 7 minute songs that would take up all three of your stages. It wouldn't necessarily be dull and repetitive. Look at Max forever (i think it's called) by that dj person (i can't remember the name right now sry) where it has mixes of different ddr songs all into one song. All of the stepcharts for each 'segment' are different and unique, but together they create a long song. |
Max Forever...great song, and would make a great long version, but it's too bad it's fan made.. _________________

You guys arn't thinking big enough. When you complain about a 3 plus minute song and how it's too long, and would entain boring stepcharts that do nothing but repeat each measure for X00 measures, I laugh. I LOVE long songs; the longer, the better. I would enjoy a song several minutes, no, hours in length, FAR beyond human ability, just for fun. Hell, if that was passed, make one weeks in length *insane laughter* the great equilizer. Just Imagine it, an entire mix devoted to one song, a song that takes an army of men and camping equipment to pass. Anyone hotheaded enough to try by themselves would surely die, piles of dead DDR players too egotistical to just stop dancing *more insane laughter*
Before you lable me unfit to post something readable and neglect my posts in the future, (prolly too late at this point) this is my opinion of long songs, in all other attributes of DDR, I'm relatively sane. |

I just hope that the Long songs, if were to be revived, can be set into 1 song, just like in GuitarFreaks and Drummania. _________________

Hmm. Long Versions. Could be cool. Great even seh.
Ok. Sure why not? For my idea, Konami would have to actually learn to listen to its fanbase. Long Versions could have its own set of difficulties. Like Single play has all difficulties, Double play does not have beginner and Long Versions would be missing light also and feature the whole song. _________________

Longer is better. Inuendo? I think so!
Yeah, sure, put 'em in. It's up to the player to choose anyway, right? |

I think they should put both the Long & Short version of the song in, so people can still do that song. |

Nah...the only way I'd agree to that is if the short verion was a remix(Captain Jack~Grandale Remix~) and the long version was the original. _________________

The short version(if it were the original song) should be in a different mix.
