Here's a videoCWK original: Can you play PIU on a CF? The middle thingy looks like a panel. Is there a switch or something on the control box that lets you play PIU with it? I really wanna try PIU, it looks great. I'm saving for a CF, and I don't want to have two metal pads for two different games lying around. Thanks. |

I thought it was possible on v2 cobalt flux pads...
From what I read, you need to unscrew the center panel and remove some piece of cardboard and the middle sensor should work. However, I think you *might* have to make a custom control box because some of the buttons are properly assigned or something
Mines coming soon (order status is still pending, but the payment cleared ) and I know people have played PIU with it, I'm just not sure if you need to do something else to get it to work. |

That was sort of helpful vesper (and kinda helpful tis' russian). That'll do for now, but if anyone reading this has played PIU on a CF, please tell me how.
It looks damn fun, and I don't want to miss out. |

I second that, I want to know if I need another control box, since my two CFs should be here in about 2 weeks. I do know that is is possible if you take out the cardboard insert. _________________

I've heard that while it's quite possible to play PIU on a Flux, it tends to be a pain in the rear, since the Flux's panels are smaller than those on a PIU pad.
I think. I've only seen a PIU machine once. |

Well I've never played PIU ever. If I could get used to it with the small panels, I'd rawk in the arcade with the bigger ones. |

You are correct. The corner buttons are not squares, they are taller than they are long. Oh, and you can't get home metal PIU pads, just soft ones. |

Yes, PIU panels are rather large. _________________

Oh. I guess I could get a foam one and put it on top of my flux when I want to play PIU. I've heard that one of the greatest foam pads ever was for PIU, so that works out. |
