Question about the Beatmania controller

Beatmania looks like tons of fun. I wanna get into it sometime. But I'm confused about controllers. On eBay, I have looked at many auctions and realized that some auctions that include controllers had controllers with the turntable on the left. But others had it on the right. I'm confused, where is it supposed to be?

well some contollers can do both by lifting the turntable and keys out of the frame and switching the sides, i thats for IIDX, but for Beatmania the turn table is on the right

almost all IIDX controllers are reversable.
