Only kind of mentionable score is 92.49% on Destiny Expert. Not really that great, could've done better, but it was my first time playing in 4 weeks. I'll give myself a break this time. |

Not ITG-related, but I played some StepMania over my girlfriend's house, and basically rendered her younger sister speechless by passing MaxX Unlimited Heavy with a B.
Then I came home and played a set or two of ITG with my shiny new toy. Before anyone has a conniption, the rug it's on is VERY thin, MAYBE a quarter-inch thick. I'm confident it won't affect the performance of the CF any.
In any event, I'm still trying to adjust to playing with sneakers. Something I'm learning is that my feet seem to simply be too small to play "traditional" flatfoot style of straddling two arrows, so I'll have to modify that somehow and sort of find my own style. Additionally, sneakers feel like freaking ankle weights right now, which makes fast stuff like Pandy Medium quite a bit more difficult, for now anyway (Particularly going into and out of jumps; ironically, jacks actually seem a bit easier with the sneakers). Maybe I picked the wrong sneakers or something.
The easy stuff is getting better, though, and I'll hopefully be hitting New Record-ville once I develop some flatfoot style that works for me. I actually did pull this off today...

Two things. First, 98.07% on Mellow Hard.
Second, and much more importantly, I discovered that there is, in fact, an ITG machine within half an hour of me! PKI must have gotten one over the winter. This means that I will be getting some arcade scores this summer. _________________

My only accomplishment is, my arcade got an ITG 2 machine today.
They promised us it was a DEDICAB but turned out it was an upgrade.... oh well still ITG 2.
But when it was deliverd, it was broken..... |

Went to see if an arcade/laser tag place on my way to and from work had arrowsmashing of any kind. They didn't, which isn't actually that surprising.
Then I came home and played more ITG PS2 with my shiny new toy. Right now, it's great on stuff up to 8-footers or so, but I'm still adjusting to movign quickly with sneakers on, so my scores on 9s are well off of where they were on the BNS. Plus it just seems to take a lot more out of me. Oh well, I'll adjust eventually.
The non-star accomplishments from the first part of the day:
Charlene (Hard)- 92.81
Da Roots (Hard)- 95.68. Greated the last step, but I'm pretty sure even a Fantastic wouldn't have gotten the star.
Let Me Be the One (Hard)- 95.44
Mouth (Hard)- 94.69
Turn it On (Expert)- 80.00. Not a record, just a kinda cool X0.00 pic.
For the second part of the day, I decided to try reading a bit of Flip. This is hard, though I did get some good scores on simple stuff.
Remember December (Easy)- 93.92
ROMeo and Juli8 (Easy)- 97.66
Tell (Easy)- 96.56
Bubble Dancer (Medium)- 86.82
The Game (Medium)- 84.63
Hard Stars! No flip here:

EDIT: Putting the scores into my GrooveStats moves me up a position, to 18th out of 41 who qualify. By .01% over 19th. Yay? _________________

woo hoo, got a cheap 'o mat and a shitty doubles setup started, and I started playing doubles for the first time ever! best accomplishment so far is this, 96.78 Bend Your Mind Doubles (H)...
err that's a 9 block by the way, stupid crap-o-camera makes it look like an 8... since i'm still missing a couple steps, theres plenty of room for improvement here. doesn't matter, its way ahead of everyone elses score on groovestats for home version lol... plus those damn annoying controller score whores are nowhere to be found in Doubles....Maybe I'll try to become the groovestats home version doubles leader.... lol.... just need to get the hang of crossovers, those MJ charts with them all destroy me. _________________

No new scores to report, though it seems in general, my scores on harder stuff, while not up the level they were on the BNS, are at least consistently improving, so I'm not overly concerned just yet.
In other words, I'm either getting used to playing in sneakers, getting better at flatfoot (Some random misses from my foot not being in quite the right place would, oddly, seem to support this), or some combination. _________________

You are so confident that you are better than him at spelling, that you forgot about Panemonium. Next time, if you want to start a fight for no reason, attack all the points. _________________
