Oh, and just to let you know, I disagree about DDR being less draining than soccer or track. I've done track, and ITG is a lot harder. You're often going faster than you can normally sprint on DDR.

I'm not surprised at all. As a 14 year-old, you seem pretty average. My friend's 14 years old and he weighs 173 lbs. and he's one of the best athletes in the class. Anybody can be physically fit.

That's the same as me
Age: 14
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 200 (o.0)
DDR Level: Heavy. A on 10 footers.
But that is some muscle there too
I can bench 215 and squat 320, so I wouldn't exactly call myself fat. Plus I run 6 miles everyday during the fall season (cross country.)

Edit: BTW on the DDR & track thing. I do track too and I think that DDR is probably harder if you haven't built up calf strength and endurance. If you have calf strength and endurance (for me that's track, lifting, and cross country), then trying to keep a 24 second sprint for 200 meters is quite a challenge compared to DDR.

I'm 16, 5' 6" and I weigh 110 lbs. I typically am/was underweigh before even discovering DDR, but now I'm skinnier than ever.

13, 210 lbs., 5'10" and PROUD OF IT.

Look, to all of you people who say fat people can't play DDR, to put it simply, you're wrong. I believe that earlier on there was a post stating that fat people could do beginner mode only, and if that's true then why am I getting "A" rankings of sightreads of 7 footers easily? I'll admit my stamina is high, and that I've only passed 1 9-footer so far (Paranoia KCET Clean Mix if it matters), but that puts me at average and I'm still darn proud of it. (Besides, going from 7s to 9s in 1 day isn't something to take lightly, no?) I can get farther in Max 300 than most people of my skill level (almost to the freeze), and this is getting further every day, so my footspeed is fine.

By the way, to clarify on my weight, no, most of that is not muscle. I can only lift 40 pounds with 1 arm and roughly 75 using both together. Using 1 leg, however, I can easily move upwards of 300 pounds. I can kick through 1" thick wood if I try (and am wearing shoes), thanks to my lower body strength. I will admit that I once weighed 230 pounds, but thanks to my 3 months of DDR that's gone down dramatically.

7's? KCET? Halfway through Max 300? Are you bragging, or just giving the in shape people more ammo to flame you with?

I'm sorry, maybe we should clarify. Fat people can't play DDR good. I'm fat myself, 5'11', 220. I've SDG'd over half the game and I've AA'd all of extreme except for the maxes. And still, I suck at DDR compared to my friends who are leaner than I am.

14 yrs. old,
about 135 lbs,
5'8"

My biggest concern is still stamina... And my feet never do seem to get any faster... disgust.gif

I play around the DDR 10, ITG 11, PIU 14 level, though, so I'm... Pretty good... I still need a bit more practice though.
