*Vader* nnooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
RedOctane just emailed me. I ordered another ITG soft pad today (my third one after the two in my Thursday Best Buy sale bundle, for backup purposes). And they told me THE PAD IS SOLD OUT AND THEY DON'T EXPECT TO BE RESTOCKED. |

Well, I can pass Charlene, Xuxa and Utopia (all on expert) on the pad an it's still in good condition. Except for the time I tried to pass Delerium on it.
And it's not modded either

My ITG pad holds up just fine for me, and I play 10, 11, 12 and 13 block songs almost everyday. I had my pad for 7.5 months now and not a single problem (I modded mine). Just mod your pad and you are guaranteed a longer pad life. _________________

How exactly did u mod your pad XMaxX? Cause I really need to mod mine but I hate trying to deal with getting with wood. Mine has just been placed on top of a computer chair mat and it moves all over the place |

I modded my pad like this:
XMaxX from alot of different posts wrote: | Try the Official In The Groove pad ($29.99) (for a cheap pad, it works well; after modding it). Get a piece of wood (Preferably 36" X 36") and some cardboard pieces (size of the arrows). Place the cardboard pieces under where the arrows should be to raise the arrows up a little bit*. Once in place, then tape it to the wood. Then align your pad on top of the cardboard & wood and tape it all together. It's called modding a softpad so that it doesn't suck. This is how I modded mine, and I never had a single problem (4 months playing on it so far).
*Helps you recognize where you are stepping*

Here Is what it looks like:
Inside: Quite Ugly, but I recently added extra cardboard pieces.
If you don't want to get any wood, you could always duct tape some cardboard on to the computer chair mat where the arrows should be placed, then place your pad on top, overlapping both the cardboard and the computer chair mat and duct tape the pad on to the computer chair mat.
I hope this helps you! _________________

Yeah I was considering duct taping the pad to the computer mat, but I think that because the comp. mat is so light (moves all over the place) it's not gonna make much of a difference. I might just try the wood like u said or just buy a metal pad. Thanks for your help. |

just wondering...is this pad just a regular Topway, or with some extra quality? |

Personally, I can't stand hard foam pads, so this pad is, in my opinion, the best soft pad in existence. |

this pad is godly for a flat soft pad. I've beaten alot of itg1 and 2 10's on it! but the thing i hate is that it crumples up when i play like 11's or max 300 lol
oh yeah, my pad doesnt slip either. there is this plastic thing that i use for my computer. on the bottom is spiky stuff. the pad usually sticks onto the plastic and doesnt move even for crazy songs _________________

what's on the surface of the pad? is there an extra plastic layer that makes it more durable? |
