 I know. You never see people do that on other machines, they never grab guns off of Time Crisis 3 machines and say "IM A POLEES MAN LAWL" or jump on pinball machines while people are using them.
I know how you feel about little kids. It's not a problem if their parents know how to be good parents and watch their children, as they fear for their safety and usually won't even let them on the side of the pad your not using. But if their parents are lazy assholes, the kid gets yelled at by a sweaty angry ME. That get's rid of 'em |

Yeah but also if you shout at the child/baby and if the parents are near,And you swear or moan at them..the parents moan at you -_- for being horrible or nasty.But I also hate it when someone just hits the button to chose a song! it annoys the crap out of me!
The other day I nearly stood on a baby/kid and i fell forward and ended up braking the plastic screen on the DDR machien and I got the blame!  |

Actually, I see little kids pull lightguns off machines all the time and shoot them at the screen when there's no money in.
cheesecake - were you at Game Zone? You have to sort of forcefully stick the coins in the slot or it won't register, but if it doesn't, just push the coin return. I've got that thing figured out.

yeah i was at game zone . I know how that coin slot works, but the dumb nubs just didn't do anything after they put their coin in and it didn't register (didn't push the red return button) and "a" worker that was there (not mentioning any names ) didn't try it either so i did it and like a million quarters fell out and i got a free game.
I would have fooled around with the coin slot earlier, but i didn't want to mess with the tape because the owner might get mad.
I could have stolen all of the quarters, but i'm just too kind so i gave them to ron and he gave me a free game |
I would have taken all the quarters and just put them back into the game the right way. I did that once at another arcade. The door was unlocked on one of the crane games and people kept putting money in, it wouldn't register, and they'd either walk away or play a different crane game. I opened the door to flick the credit switch a few times (I know how arcade games work because I have one in my basment) when I was alone and realized there was a pile of quarters in there (about $7.00 worth). I pocketed them and used them to play games there the next day. I also realized the next day that the arcade had cameras in it - and that the crane game had been locked. I was afraid I would get arrested or something.

This is true people.
This guy came into this arcade at our mall. He went over the the extreme machine in Splashdown and literally, yes, I said it literally, took a scizors and tried to cut the wires from the pad to the machine. He got thorugh the wire stuff before I caught him and told the manager.

Actually there are some people in the late teens/early 20's that do that at my arcade. They're the type that dress up all ganster like and try to talk that way too. They just randomly pick up the gun, holds it sideways and "trys" to imitate gun noises. There's also the occasional morons that jump around the DDR and ITG machines acting like idiots.

No, thanks for asking though. I'm getting good, its that last arrow that gives me trouble. After it slows down, I start messing up a lot, and the last arrow is hard to get. By that time I've gotten up to it, my dance meter can't take much more.
I've passed it on a crapshit pad with a C (and the occasional B), but those are easy to move on. But of course, since it slides around a lot I miss tons of arrows. And what sucks is that theres nothing I can do about it.

Actually, surveillance cameras record onto videotapes, and if they think a crime has happened, they will watch the videotape of the day it happened on. I don't think they would notice that 7$ had dissapeared from the crane game.
And anyway, places like arcades, which are relatively low-theft (I think), probably only save the records of the past few days before re-using the tapes. Places like banks, though, save theirs for at least a week or two. |

Unmaintainanced pads are bad enough, but when you have decently big guys stomping the hell out of it on light with their girlfirend (I have seen this at least 5 times) and they get an arrow to lag up or stick, then you just want to kill them. I am 6'3'', big guy, and I have never made a pad less responsive other than my one at home, but that took me about a year of 10's to do it anyway. Seriously guys, if a 9 year old can play DDR and have it register, then you don't need to stomp.

So very true.
I've seen tons of people go on and stomp as hard as they frick could. Its retarded, they watch me play, and I'm only pressing hard enough to make it register, nothing more or less. Then they go on and stomp as hard as they can. C'mon now, DDR pads can stand up to a lot, but they're not indestructable. |
