Which would you rather have? A cheap eBay metal pad that costs about $100 or a soft Red Octane pad that costs about $100?
I'm trying to decide which to get for myself. There's no way I can afford a CF.
Also, where could I buy a metal pad without paying huge shipping costs (in other words, any real stores that sell these pads)? _________________

I just bought a "cheap" metal DDR pad at Toys R Us yesterday, manufactured by Intec. So far, it ROCKS!! And it was only $99.99!! I would recommend getting the extended warranty for an additional $8.99 (if it breaks within a year, it's replaced for FREE!!)
I would recommend it to anyone!! |

cobalt flux is you guys answer for everything, isnt it? You know, not everyone can go off and spend $350 on a dance pad. Most people dont want to spend that much for 1 game. I would say get a mymybox ignition pad; those work pretty well. I got one and it lasted over a year, and i got it on ebay! I personally would reccomend getting one on a site because mines xbox port didnt work because when it came it was all bent and messed up. So just get one on the site. |

red octane soft pads aren't as quality as they used to be. plus i hear they are real strict with their return policy, once your 30 days is up, it's up no matter what issues you have with your pad. BUT, this is coming from someone who has not bought a RO pad before, I'm kinda summarizing previous dozens of posts. if you can get a pad with a sick 1 year warranty, then you may be cool, otherwise/???? save your money a few more months and get something substantial. |

If you're trying to choose between two or more pads, then post IN THE THREADS FOR THOSE PADS. Do NOT make a new thread for this.
DO NOT POST A "WHICH PAD IS THE BEST?" THREAD.
If you really want to know, do some research. You'll narrow it down pretty quickly. Do *NOT* post a thread asking for information that you could have easily found by looking - why should anyone else exert effort on your behalf when you were too lazy to find out yourself? |
