So then people will say "Oh, well in order for me to maintain my position in the Uber Cool People on an Internet Forum List I need to post 10 more times today. But what to post about? Hmmm...I know! I'll say 'I agree' or 'lol' and I'll get more posts!"
It would still encourage postwhoring and stupid posts. There is no reason for us to do it other than it would make the average user feel good about themselves. And I don't mean the average user as in "the majority." I mean someone who doesn't contribute much either way to the forum.

How can it be easier for the mods and admins? What we have right now is an automated system. There's probably a little button on the top right of everybody's posts that they click and they warn you with. Once you reach nine, you're automatically banned forever. The mods and admins don't have to do anything.
Anyways, what you're talking about now isn't even a points system, you're just saying it will be easier for the admins. |

Ok, how do you know that? What he is saying is actually pretty much on the money. Every post here on DDR Freak has a warn button attached to it for us moderators to use when we feel the post violates rules on the forum.
The warning system is excellent here.
