Zodiac feels like one of the easier 9's to me.... was the first 9 (or song, for that matter) that I broke a 97% on a while ago.... I guess for me, technical issues and difficulty are non-existent for this difficulty level, but stamina is what determines the relative difficulty. Thats why DFC destroys me _________________

I played In the Groove 1 alot, and on that game, On a Day Like Today was the last song to get over 80% on, and i tried it about 10-15 times. Most of the songs I played around 5 times to get the hang of them to get over 80% but most of them where not too hard, On a Day Like Today takes ALOT of Stamina, crossovers and it just gets harder, Looking at my scores, My charlene score is catching up to it..... _________________

Lipstick Kiss has the fewest steps of any 9, and it's one of the hardest.
Step count doesn't matter. _________________

Step count CAN matter though. Just because Delirium is harder than Walking on Fire doesn't mean that all songs with more steps aren't harder than songs fewer steps. Honestly, there's a stamina issue you have to remember. Hardcore of the North on Hard takes more stamina than probably all the other 9's because of the stepcount. For a person just trying to pass, step count is very important. It however becomes less important when shifting your focus towards scoring. Then 12's with a "low" step count like Tell become wicked _________________

I have several songs that I think fall in this category: Tension (16ths), Lemmings on the Run (mines), On a Day Like Today (crossover 16ths), Go 60 Go (craziness), Clockwork Genesis (gallops and 16ths), and HotN (stamina). It's a tough decision, but I will have to go with LotR because it is my lowest-scoring 9. I would have to bar rape it every time to avoid those stupid mines. Energizer is the s***, but even though I may bar rape it sometimes, it's not overwhelmingly difficult, even for it being medium steps. _________________

You mean those 1/16 drills where you don't move at all? Yeah those are completely undoable. Lipstick Kiss is impossible to score. And it's a horrifyingly bad song. _________________

Surprisingly, he's right about that, as it actually seems affect how well you do on a song. I've addressed this point before, but really, from my past experiences, the more you like a song, the better you are at it and vice versa. How Witch Doctor was the 8th song I PA'd in DDR would be beyond many people, as many seem to believe it's one of the hardest songs to AAA in DDR. The reason was because it's among my favorite songs in the game, so I'm motivated by it and know the melody by heart. Synaesthesia here probably has Lipstick Kiss as one of his worst 9's in the game not just because of the weird steps, but also because he can't stand it and thus probably wouldn't have the motivation to do well on it. _________________

When you compare Disconnected's drills to the stuff in other 9's, then yes, it is hard to FA consistantly. I always wind up getting an excellent in those drills.
However, you are correct regarding Lipstick Kiss being difficult to score. Obviously not impossible though according to Groovestats, but difficult.
Passwise however, neither of these songs take the cake for 9's. I'd still go with On A Day Like Today. It's harder than Fleadh I think and most 9-block dancers aren't ready for mild crossover runs. _________________

It really isn't a matter of opinion. Go ask the higest tier of players what the hardest expert 9 to stay consistent on is, and I'm fairly sure the overwhelming response is going to be Lipstick Kiss (if not unanimous). And they're the ones who are going to know how to get fantastics the best. _________________

Bouff is a 10. Bouff Hard IS a 9, but last I checked, it was a fairly easy to pass 9 and pathetically easy to FA. Of course, my sarcasm detector may be broken.... _________________

If he was talking about hard mode, its easy to pass, but impossible to FA.
And to whoever posted something about asking an upper tier player, I asked one the other day. He said that lipstick kiss is the hardest 9 to be consistent on. _________________
