What do people do while playing DDR that really angers you?

I was very pissed when a drunk guy came up behind me and a kid I was playing with and started clapping off beat (unintentionally) and cheering for us (in the very drunk way that drunks often do, minus that self control). I'll admit it was funny as hell for the first song but after that I almost called security on him.

Another habit I hate (and often try to stem before it gets annoying) is when the person I'm playing with scrolls through the song list and chooses a song without having the courtesy to announce he/she's choosing it. I often have to lunge at the screen to put on the mods screen to adjust the difficulty or listen to what the hell we're playing.

A friend of mine loves to chew tobacco and every so often spits up a gob of chew that tends to make me sick. Also, I hate getting nipple twisters after playing a song (rare but it does happen).

Here's a new one I discovered yesterday.

Kids that play sans deorderant or SOMETHING to curb the smell of your horrible pre-teen/young teen body and all of it's sweaty putridness. Yesterday at the arcade after (finally) getting an A on B2U (KOG3 Mix) this kid comes over and starts telling me to do LoM (He had been doing Max Unlimited ealier) and good GAWD, the smell was terrible. I told him I'd play the song I wanted to play, kthx, so deal. He left, BUT THE SMELL REMAINED. AUGH. I make it a point to either bring/bum some AXE off someone or take me deorderant with me when I plan on playing for a lot because who wants to smell that?

I failed on the last arrow of Max 300 again..damn pad was dropping my holds all day. I think I'm too light.

I have not had that many problems at the arcade because I dont play there much. But what really pissed me off this one time is when there was this group of kids who just would not give up the machine. I put my coin on the line and these kids just completely ignored me. I hate people like that. They were DDR hogs.

Wow, I learned a lot here! I'm fairly good at DDR home versions. (7-9 footers) but I'm new at the arcade. If I would have known how annoying shadowing was to a lot of people I never would have done it.

The main beef I have with shadowing is that shadowers tend to stomp harder than I do, so I can't hear my own steps which is what I need to do when PA'ing (my ears are better at keeping beat than my eyes are).
