Is it hopeless?

I have one of those crappy MadCatz MC Groovz foam insert pads, because those are the best in my price range right now. For a while, it's given me dependable service, but a few months ago I lent it to my friends (they live together), and from being pushed in the corner and bent a little bit, it suffers from a bit of unresponsiveness.

It's the left arrow that's the problem, mostly. It only works about 75% of the time when stepping, and 50% of the time during L-R jumps. I think it's a problem with the sensors. Is there a safe way to fix this (it's a soft pad so there may be problems), or is it doomed?

If you really wanted to, you could cut open the pad and check for rips in the cords. if the actual sensor is comboozled, then see if you could put some stick aluminium foil on it. if its the wires, number 6 telephone wires are good. get a good sodering iron and bond the broken ones together.

but dont take my word for it, as ive never seen a mad catz foam insert, but based upon others thats waht id do.

make sure you got a knowledge of welding first or, or, im gonna tell the cops!
