And 5 excellents, a way off, and a miss on rom-eo.
Our pads are amazing. _________________

*Steers topic off-course* Hey Boochypa, randomly, are you the same Mason who went to M4GFest and won the DDR tournament there?
Trying to get back on-topic, I learned the hard way that I really need to keep at my current schedule of "Play arrow-smash for a day, rest for a day, and repeat" to fully get my leg strength back. Long story short is that, figuring I wouldn't have time today to play, I tried to do so yesterday, after I had already played Wednesday. Yeah, not the best of ideas, though I suppose increasing my wisdom counts as an "accomplishment", somehow... _________________

Actually, that's what he gets for decimating me (And everyone else) at M4GFest.
lol sup Mason.
I was the guy who got bye'd--twice!--into the Quarterfinals and played you there. As an aside, I can truthfully say that your play as a whole was the most amazing thing I've ever seen in person arrow-smash wise.
BACK ON-TOPIC: Played some MAX2 PS2 today, but that's not quite on-topic, so I then switched to ITG PS2. Thoughts:
-My pad is determined to not allow me to * ROM-eo & Juli8 Hard. *sigh* What kind of disgusting, despibic...despicable, lack of respect... (EDIT: NO STRIKE TAG?! phpBB FOR THE LOSE.)
-I managed to exactly tie my best score on Lemmings Hard.
-Tried Vertex Hard today. Failed with 4X.XX%. It wasn't a stamina issue so much as a "let's put it on X1 so I'll at least have a chance to flail around at the fast part" issue. As you might expect, this made it hard to read the rest of the song which combined with my general lack of familiarity to equal a not-particularly-fun experience. Although, now that I'm more familiar with the tempo changes and such, I'd probably do quite a bit better were I to take another crack at it.
With my unofficial challenge from Tyrgannus in mind, I decided to take baby steps, and work simply on getting scores on 9s I can submit to Groovestats (I have no scores submitted on 26 of the 43 prior to this posting). While I've PASSED all the 9s at one point or another (Except Liquid Moon), I don't generally like submitting to Groovestats unless I have a picture that says "New Record!" on it. Call it my quirk, or call me a lame version of Pickles, or whatever. Note that I haven't generally played quite a few of these songs in awhile, maybe since I first passed them.
FINALLY, the scores:
Boogie Down (Expert)- 81.68
Bouff (Hard)- 82.57
Da Roots (Expert)- 93.38. This wasn't actually from today. It's an exception to the aforementioned picture policy, mainly because it counts toward the unofficial challenge. I truthfully don't remember ever doing this.
Da Roots (Hard)- 92.28. Don't ask me.
Disconnected (Expert)- 82.00
Disconnected Hyper (Hard)- 93.45
Fly Away (Expert) 86.23
36 more 90s to go.... _________________

Don't worry, you'll get it. I was challenged to 90 all the 10s and that is much trickier.
...actually, I still need to do Tension. I have an 84.XX on it
Once you get like your first 10 9s over 90, the rest come pretty fast, except for On A Day Like Today and a few others, but hey, that's why it's called a challenge, right? _________________

what can I say? some songs are tougher than others |
I was joking about that one. Needless to say, your post is a little (extremely) suspicious. You've been trying to pass an easy 7 (solina h) and an extremely hard 10 for a while now (kye), and you just pass them both at the same time?
....right. |
lol well I suppose it is extremely suspicious without photo proof. anyways I can say a million things to bring some credibility to my post, but no point, that just puts it under even more suspicion. _________________

A bunch of new scores for ITG2 PS2. Nothing to be too exceptionally proud of--no new stars or anything--but all new records nonetheless, and a few of them chip away at the unofficial "90 the 9s" challenge. Most of these attempts were mainly with the goal of "get more 9s on Groovestats, and if I also happen to get further on the challenge, sweet."
Got something like 10% on Keel Over Normal. Boomerang = NO for me. They may as well rename Boomerang "Emptyeye fales lol". There's a free tip if I end up somehow playing you in a mirrored mods tournament.
Which MC Was That (Medium)- 95.00. Yes, lower than my Hard score. First time playing it on Medium, I think...not that that's an excuse.
Walking on Fire (Hard)- 88.67 My camera's flash randomly stopped working for a bit. Also, where in God's name is the sync on this song? For some reason, it took me until about 2/3s of the way through to nail anything resembling a run of Fantastics.
Tough Enough (Expert)- 86.37. About a 6% improvement, but should've been even higher.
Not Worth the Paper (Hard)- 95.71. <William Shatner>PAAAAAAAAAAAAD! *cut to a shot of outside of my house, where we hear the echo* PAAAAAAAAAAAAD!</William Shatner>
Mellow (Hard)- 93.20
July (Hard)- 90.39. Yes!
Hybrid (Hard)- 88.46
Hardcore of the North (Hard)- 80.19. This, I think, was a big improvement. I can't remember, though, to be honest.
Hip Hop Jam (Expert)- 90.74. Woo!
Fly With Me (Expert)- 79.69
Flying High (Expert) 89.29
Drifting Away (Expert)- 80.93
Bend Your Mind (Hard)- 91.88. Yay!
GREATEST PANDEMONIUM SCORE EVAR:
And with this, I believe I officially have passed all the 9s on ITG PS2 at least once (Since it sadly counts as a 9 now)..the beginning is hell, but it gets easier after that, as you can tell by my life graph:
Finally, a couple more attempts at Vertex (Hard) yielded no pass, though my score improved to a 60.XX. I keep running out of life at the runs prior to the 612 part. I have a Cobalt Flux on its way, so we'll see how that affects things both passing-wise and scorewise. _________________

You're so much better than me! I hope you don't take offense but I always thought I was your skill or better than you. Now, I definitely know that you're better than I am.
I still think that we should play against each other though. I think it'd be interesting to watch and play. Plus, you're cool too. You're one of my friends so it'd be a great excuse to hang out afterwards or beforehand too, haha. _________________
